C&p Exams

Question

Does a phone number or website exist where one can find out if a C&P exam has been scheduled? If one exists, I want that site or number because I now have a phobia of not getting the notification by mail. I have confirmed that the VARO has my current mailing address for notification, but I would feel better with an alternate way to confirm C&P appointments.

The VA puts an inordinate amount of faith in the U.S. Postal Service.

You can call your local VA medical center's main line and choose Appointments. I believe my C & P's were listed on there.

You can also ask your VSO to call you (if you have one).

You can try asking the schedulars for a call. Get their number from VARO.

Good luck, Apple!

Hello

I called the VAMC C&P department and gave name and last 4

and they gave me the time and dates.

if you dont have a VAMC.than the best bet is the 800 number

than next go to your RO or service vet and have them let you know.

Good Luck..

Hey Apple sounds like you may be doing this on your own, something really not suggested to do since there is so much to understand about the VA system. A VSO such as the DAV, MOPH etc is really an asset to work with, since they know the ins and outs. Yeah there are some who well have no idea what is going on but

most of them are really good within an organization like the DAV. They do everything for you. In fact when your C&P is set in stone they notify you, and yes you can call. Time does vary around the country on obtaining a C&P. Here in NYC the DAV is outstanding at least for me it was.

There is a ton of information here on what you need to do to prepare yourself for a C&P. Most important be prepared and be honest, as you never know if that examiner is a combat Veteran who knows bs when he hears it. Don't be nervous.

Best of luck keep us updated.
