Dic And Social Security Benefit Amount

Question

hi all;

i am back with a question. i would like to relocate to missouri to be closer to family and was wondering if my dic and social security survivor monthly amounts will change because it is a different state.

my neighbor receives ssi and says hers changed when she moved from one state to another.

something else to scratch my head over and worry.

They should remain the same. SSI is similiar to welfare and therefore is adjusted state by state.
