Question

I want to thank everyone for your info and help.It was most useful when i had my C&P exam today.

She was a very nice doctor and listened to me carefully ,writing and taking notes.almost all the time.

She asked me every question on the PTSD practice manual i got from this web site,it really helped me.

The doctor said that i articulated the stressor event very well and that she would recommend to the VA that the get me on some medication as soon as possible,

she could see that i needed it.

Also i made sure to look her in the eye all the time

She also said that my report would be favorable[whatever that means.

the exam took 1 hour and i percieved it as one of the good exam.

So , the question is. what is next?

Do i need to get ready to fight or just wait until i get a letter from the VA.

Does the VA take the DR's reccomendation?

I am truly hoping this is a good sign for the future of this PTSD claim.

I said i would let you know how this exam went so there it is.

GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY VETERAN

Now begins the big long wait for VA to make their decision and send you, your award letter. If you had your C & P exam at the VAMC hospital, you can go to the release of information office in a week or so and request a copy of it to figure out what was stated on your exam.

Hope the best
