Does anyone know who to contact to get my e-benefits information updated?
I have called the number on the e-benefits site and was told that the RO is
responsible for updating the information on my claims(which makes sense). I called
the 800# to inquire about this and to find out when they would be updating my information,
which is over a year old and was told that they don't have anything to do with the
e-benefits site and should contact them. WTH!!!! I told them what the e-benefits site
rep said and he insisted that they were wrong. I got the feeling that he had NO idea
what he was talking about and only wanted to sound as if he did.
I had to drive over 2 hours to get to the RO in order to get level 2 access, and now there
is nothing on the site. When the guy at the RO certified me for access he stated that veterans
had been calling him concerning lack of information on the site and he stated adamantly that he
has nothing to do with updating the information. He also stated, PLEASE don't call me with questions
about ebenefits, I just get you access.
This just adds to one more farce of the VA!!
