Question

I am service connected 90%, wich is 70% for PTSD,40% for TBI,10% for cervicalstrain,10% for schowder myositis and 10% lumbar myositis, I olso was granted social Security Benefits for PTSD,recently apply for TDIU nothing has been received yet. My questions is,WHAT ARE MY CHANCES TO BEEN APPROVED ON MY CLAIM? all advices will be welcome,THANKS.

Your chances are VERY good as long as you aren't employed.

Are they aware of the SSA PTSD award?

I assume it is solely for SC PTSD.

Have you received an authorization request so they can get those SSA records?

Have you IRISed them to see if in fact the SSA records have been obtained?

They denied my husbands claim for higher than 30% rating by deliberately not obtaining his SSA records that were solely for PTSD.

He was awarded 100% P & T by VA but he was dead for 3 years already by then.

SSA records that award solely for a SC condition are,in essence, an IMO supporting unemployability due to service. (Washington V Derwinski)
