Question

I got a call this morning scheduling another C&P exam even though I have been awarded 100&P&t as of Sept. 10,2010 with no examinations scheduled in the future. Why would this happen?I am very worried.

That seems very odd.

Were you Vietnam-incountry?

If so-Is it possible you had listed as NSC in a past decision -one of the new now AO presumptives?

Perhaps they should have considered you for SMC in the 100% decision and didnt and caught their error?

I would call them and ask what this exam is actually for.

Larynx cancer is an AO presumptive condition. 38 CFR 3.309 (e)

Are they compensating you for this AO disability?

If not did they deny in the past for this?

Are you able to speak or do you have aphonia?

Either they didnt comp you correctly on the AO cancer or if you have aphonia (loss of voice) they owe you the SMC K award so maybe could it be that?

I know vet with voice device he uses and I always forget to ask him if he gets this K award- I dont know if the voice device

would prevent getting K award but why should it ????

I was rated 70% and given 100% TDIU with no future exams scheduled. I also got a paper stating I was 100% P&T effective 9/1/10.Hope this helps.

if you or someone sent in something about the Larynx cancer presumptive to AO it will open your case. Do your C&P.
