The template for IMOs regarding a DIC claim was posted in the IMO forum by Rakk and I am putting link here too as it is excellent:
A contributory cause of death could possibly be overlooked by any non medical person and could be the very SC disability (with maybe a very low rating)that would support a DIC award.
If an autopsy was done, the complete autopsy should also be provided to the IMO doctor.
