Question

I was awarded 100% P&T with SMC since i only have use of one eye and a brain tumor. I was wondering if i will get future exams? I am almost to my 1 year mark since i was awarded and it just happen to cross my mind as i have been a site stalker for many years since my condition came known.

Generally speaking, P&T and SMC are awarded/assigned because there is little to no chance that the service connected conditions will improve. Again, generally speaking, no future examinations are entered in the computer "diary".

Actually though, a particular evaluation does not become permanent (under the law) until that level of evaluation has been in effect for 20 years.

So, can a veteran who is "P&T" with some level of SMC ever have a future examination scheduled? Well, it is not impossible but it is highly, highly unlikely.

I believe that if you look over the decision that awarded "100% P&T with SMC", somewhere

in there it will state no future exams scheduled.
