Question

OK folks I am going for it. I am retired military and I am rated at 100%sc. I have a court date of 12 Dec 2012 to see the ALJ for SSD. Brief description on three biggest claims. After my court date, regardless of the outcome, I am filing for P and T and Pray the best. I take medication for depression/ Anxiety and for my enlarged prostate that causes OAB... Wish me luck...Haven't worked in almost two years!

50% depression/ Anxiety

50% Sleep Apnea

40% Enlarge Prostate and several Polyps removed from colon.

A lot more claims...

I agree with John. Many people ask if they should wait until.......happens to apply for benefits. To this, my answer is always the same.

Go ahead and apply now. Later, if you are just unable to spend all the retro you get from filing early, then go ahead and mail any retro you get from applying early to me. Other wise, it stays in the VA's coffers, and they will have a big party with it. The VA loves it when we delay applying..but our retro does not.

If you can afford to wait, I guess go ahead. For me, I want the earliest possible effective date and that can not be any earlier than the date you apply.
