Parkinson Dbq By My Private Nuerolgist

Rate this question

Question

Currently, I'm 30% rated for PD. I will not get into the C&P Exam, been down that road. My Lawyer's have submitted an appeal, but they tell me that it will take from 1.5 to 2 years. My private doctor has agreed to complete a DBQ for me. My PD is getting much worse, more and stronger tremors, walk like a drunk old man. My dysphagia is slowly getting worse, IBS and other stomach issues are starting to take hold. It seem like I'm in a race with the VA, but the problem, I'm on a Tread Mill and the VA has a Gold Metal Winner run for them. Do you all think this DBQ could help me, or just give the VA an excuse to delay it even more?

Papa, I think that any time a privite doctor does a DBQ. The chances are better than worst and it might delay it a little or maybe a lot, but

that DBQ give you a better chance for increase compensation.

Good luck

God bless!

PAPA, MY FAMILY DOCTOR FILLED OUT A PD DBQ FOR ME, BUT THE DOCTOR HAD TO FAX IT TO THE VA. I WAS AT 30%, UNTIL THE DBO WAS DONE. HERE IS WHAT MY DBQ SHOWED: MOTOR MANIFESTATIONS- STOOPED POSTURE MILD, BALANCE IMPAIRMENT MODERATE, SLOWED MOTION MODERATE, LOSS OF AUTOMATIC MOVEMENTS MODERATE, SPEECH CHANGES MODERATE. TREMOR SECTION-TREMORS PILL ROLLING NO. EXTREMITIES AFFECTED RIGHT UPPER SEVERE, LEFT UPPER MODERATE, RIGHT LOWER MODERATE, LEFT LOWER MILD, SECTION FOR MUSCLE RIGIDITY AND STIFFNESS- MUSCLE RIGIDITY AND STIFFNESS YES, EXTREMITIES AFFECTED - RIGHT UPPER MILD, LEFT UPPER MILD, RIGHT LOWER MILD, LEFT LOWER MILD. MENTAL MANIFESTATIONS- DEPRESSION SEVERE, DEMENTIA NONE, ADDITIONAL COMPLICATIONS - LOSS OF SENSE OF SMELL NONE, SLEEP DISTURBANCE SEVERE, DIFFICULTY CHEWING NONE, URINARY PROBLEMS NONE, CONSTIPATION MODERATE, SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION SEVERE (GOT SMC FOR THIS), OTHER MANIFESTATIONS MODERATE. DOES THE VETERAN'S PD IMPACT HIS ABILITY TO WORK: UNABLE TO WORK. I GOT 160% BEFORE VA MATH WHICH TOOK ME TO 90%, THEN I GOT TDIU TOTALED. IF YOUR LEFT OR RIGHT HANDED, MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN THE PERCENTAGE FOR UPPER EXTREMITIES. THE MORE MODERATE OR SEVERE YOU GET ON THE ABOVE BODY PARTS AND OTHERS WILL GIVE YOU A HIGHER PERCENTAGE. I RECEIVED THESE PERCENTAGE BEFORE I HAD A C&P EXAM. I BELIEVE THE DBQ DID MORE FOR ME THAN MY BEING TOTALED BY SOCIAL SECURITY. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU MAKE UP YOUR MIND ON A DBQ.

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS

Thanks Warren, I have an appointment this Thursday. I should have done this a long time ago, but if QTC would of had a Specialist do the exam, I believe that I would have gotten more than 30%, But, who knows.
