Dic Question

hi to all;

i have searched the internet for the answer to these little questions and can't seem to find it. my neighbor asked me the following:

1 - "is dic every reviewed like social security to see if a person still qualifies?"

2 - "is dic a permanent monthly benefit?"

if a widow/widower is receiving DIC and they re-marry at the age of 57 or greater, they are authorized to keep the DIC.
