Pulmonary Embolism.

Has anyone on the board had a pulmonary embolism? I have one now and have been in icu for 5 days and am now on home health care. I was told how lucky how I was to be here. They found no clots in my legs so they are not sure where they started and ended up in my lungs. I just know anytime I exerted myself I could not breathe.

I am home now on blood thinners, before they were giving me shots in my stomach. Can anyone tell me if they have bee thru this and what the outcome was? Gotta take care of my wife and to do that I gotta take care of myself. Thanks
