Question

Question ? Is stenosis and lumbar fusion all combined into one claim as in DDD. I tried to get DAV to file a claim for stenosis and fusion but somehow it seems it wasn't done that way .....

Degenerative disk disease is a disease of the spine rated as either Invertabral disk syndrome. Fusion is a surgical procedure. Stenosis is a result of a disk herniation causing the pinching effect on the effected area of the spine.

This will all be rated under 1 of 2 criteria. IVDS or Traumatic Arthritis depending on what they actually find. They will not rate both as it will be pyramiding.
