Question

i have a question for you and really would appreciate your responses.

i know the social security sends a 1099 each january, but does the veterans association send a 1099 each january? i receive dic each month.

thank you for your help in answering this question.

No, you won't get a 1099 form for your D.I.C. it is a "Non Taxable Payment". You will however, get a letter stating the rate that was paid to you each month.

As far as your taxes are concerned you don't have to tell your tax preparer anything about it. It's Tax Free, so Nobody's business but yours. smile.png
