Would I have to pay back the ss checks that I already collected, the past four months, that I went on ss? Also if you file for ssdi, what would be the time table that I would know the outcome,if I get it or not?

You would not have to pay back what you've received.

As far as a time table it's hard to say. My SSDI was granted in less than three weeks. Other people take months.

Some take years.
