I have been had alot of urinary & bladder infections over the past year. I'm concerned that my meds maybe causing the problem. Has everyone else had these problems because of their meds?

DeeDee, I have had some anit infection meds turn it flourescent orange, some will turn it purple. I take a wide variety of meds for Cirhossis and encepalopathy. Not to sound GROSS but it stinks to the high heavens however I have not had any VA meds cause an infection.

Try allot of Cranberry drinks, not the mixed ones but pure Cranberry it does help..

I get urinary infections as a result of a testicular mass.

Many toxins we are exposed to can cause some of these problems. A few yrs ago, I was prescribed 3 different antidepressants at one time, creating a toxic state. I don't know if this can cause urinary infections, but maybe others will be able to comment.

It may be a good idea to call your PCP & request a consult with a urologist. Has there been any high markers in your lab results?
