C&p When?

Question

I have been at 'Review of Evidence' on my FDC for 4 months.

Question I have is, at which stage of the process is the C&P scheduled? Am I at that point? or is it further at Prep for Decision?

usdart,

My FDS was submitted in September, and it is still at Under Review. Atleast they are looking at your claim bud. From what I have read, if they need a C&P the VA will request one, but I have also read that at times they don't need a C&P and your claim would go straight to Prep for Decision. I wish I knew more, as I am very stressed like you. I have a SSD and FDC claim in right now and I cant help but feel that we will once again get screwed. God bless and may we all have an early Christmas.

VBA decision makers have the authority to decide if a C&P is needed to develop the claim/issues.

They provide specific instruction to the examiner and arrange to have an exam

scheduled.

I'm sure one can REQUEST a C&P, it may or may not be scheduled.

Personally, I'd go get a supportive IME/IMO - completed DBQ if applicable

and submit it in person to my VARO and leave with a date stamped copy.
