GAF 50.....I am having trouble trying to live everyday and if not for my kids, would more than likely not be here. The VA is doing what it can as I know it takes years but I have no more money, hate asking for handouts and my claim went to pending a desicion last month (claim filed in JAN 13)....Any ideas on how long and what can I expect for a rating....Need to see if i should start packing after Xmas since I have nothing left to sell and refuse to steal......

My guess is 70% but you should be eligible for TDIU, therefore you would be paid at the 100% level. Good Luck brother and keep fighting and never give up. There will be better days ahead for you. Get (or stay) in counseling with the VA as there are some good doctors out there able to help. If nothing else, you will be creating a paper trail you might need someday down the road.

well i was reviewing my status on ebenes and it said the only thing they received was my va medical history...nothing else. i have a sudden fear of being told i wont get the rating...which scares me because i have never wanted this nor would want this on anyone. i have a fear of being homeless since i have nothing left, getting a job is the toughest thing to do for a 37 yr old vet who hasn't worked since i left the army (and no one is hiring us), fighting/getting upset quickly, no sleep, hell i dont even leave my house unless i have to get food or my kids....bills are piling up and tires are bald. i dont see the light at the end of the tunnel and now it seems that i wont make rent for next month...i hate the holidays.....i just cant stand living with this crap and with my luck, the VA is going to deny everything for me...just lost in the sauce with nowhere to go and been thru the VA OEF counslers (but i cant keep going due to no money for gas) and thru WWP (heard nothing from them)... they closed my needing paperwork on nov 14th.... am i really screwed?
