Are Va Docs Flipping Patients?

I guess it depends on what VAMC a vet goes to.......

I am concerned about this....they usually have a sign telling everyone to slow down ,before they cross a little bridge that goes into the Bath NY VA.

Sunday they replaced the sigh with a message that the ER will close next week.

They are changing all that to a Urgent Care status....meaning I think that some vets will get farmed out.......

I don't seem to get the difference between a true emergency and Urgent care........

When and if I get more info on that I will post it here.

The VA is supposed to have list of conditions and dates when you should get tested or get care for these conditions. For instance, I have eye exam date and foot exam date due to my DMII. The PCP's are supposed to consult this and refer you out. Mine does this but I have to remind her. If they just respond to your complaints they are not doing their jobs. They are supposed to prevent things from happening like heart attacks, strokes and diabetic complications. My VAMC is too far away and too inaccessible for any of this.

next appt I might bring a inflated zip lock bag with me, and when the nurse asks why in there, im going to tell her foul gas. can she bring the sample to the doctor down the hall and let him have a whiff, and see what he thinks, being he cant carry his arse down the hall and see me.

This has to be the funniest thing I have read in a while. You might be on to something...
