I Can't Hear Nothing!

Thanks for all your thoughts! Something you all said about phoning in, I could not hear anything so calling in was not an option.

Hope to be able to put my aide in later today after I do some real good checking and clean up.

You gotta do what you gotta do to get the answers you need. If the phone doesn't work for you but the fingers do...not sure what else you could do but try to make it to the ER. Really disappointed that you had this problem in the first place - you went to the ENT clinic who should have known that you couldn't hear anything, they didn't explain the situation to you in a way you could receive it (deflection? How about writing out on a piece of paper what's going on!?), and they didn't communicate to you what could happen. Really hope that you'll be able to get your aide back in and up working today. My hearing isn't quite as bad, but wouldn't think of going a day without the aides myself unless it was absolutely necessary.
