Ebenefits Pulling Up Someone Else's Information

Question

I just logged onto benefits account and it pulled up all the claim past and present including home address and payment information for a Charles Allen Tanner. I cannot believe my credentials somehow got me access to another account. Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm wondering if someone now has access to my personal information

I recommend calling the eBenefits 800 help number ASAP.

Just tried to log in and saw the banner that the log in was down...after I logged in. So is it down or not? At any rate, eBenefits is supposed to be down until 0300 tomorrow morning. So maybe they're trying to fix it right now? If it were me, I'd still call the eBenefits 800 help number and complain...and the IG.

This represents a major break in their system and all of us can assume that our personal information has been compromised.

Well I hate to get on this train but I logged in 4 times only to find 4 different people's info. Watch your accounts folks. This is NOT good by no means. Hackers paradise.

I am 31 and I have had my Identity stolen 4 times while in Military and when I worked for the US Marshals last year. So to me, seeing other guys info on site is a big deal. I have had over 10K stolen from me. Always easier for them to still my money, then me get it back. We should all take a breath and a break from Ebenefits, but not from purposely people or the Govt breaking the darn law. We have all seen just how quick situations can go bad, off a so called innocent mistake.

eBenefits is completely offline as of a few minutes ago. Seems like they're fixing something...hopefully it's this problem.

I hear you, Meg, but there are no other real options for many of us trying to see what stage our claims are stuck at - not everyone can pick up the phone daily. It's not ever completely right, but it's often not completely wrong. It's kind of like the weather forecast. It's not the amount of snow the weather guessers are calling for but the trend. First it's 1-2 inches, then 3-4 inches, then 6-8 inches...you know you're in for a foot or more!
