What is a Veteran to do   when the VA D'r   (4) of them can't come up with a Diagnoses?

I have these 3 round circles on my lower back  that itch very bad  they been there over a year now, PCP prescribe topical creams   they don't work, I've tried everything I know of  research through Mayo Clinic, nothing but lime tic disease but that's been ruled out as well as other possibility's

Finally PCP put in for me  to Dermatology Clinic after a year  & those Dr's can't give me a Diagnose either.

Could this be some rare type of skin disease I ask one of the Specialist?  he said he did not know, he called in two more Dermatology Specialist  they did not know? Ask me if I've been out of the country recently within the last year or so? I said no...they did a Biospy and still can't make a Diagnose.

They still don't know what to tell me  and I need this Diagnose..hell it might be some rare skin disease from way back in my Vietnam days From A.O.   With out a Diagnose I' have a problem.

Anybody have any suggestions??

Thank you THOMAS

I had those  air injections done in Basic Training 1968 Ft Bliss Tx

The VA Docs have ruled out the Lupus, I  never thought about the Air injection guns though? I believe I do have an underlying condition that is causing this.

I have Prenious  Anemia   and have to take  B-12 injections twice a month rest of my life  b/c my body don't have the Intrinsic Factor that reaches out and supply's it to my blood stream(the way the Dr explained it to me)

Since no family members have ever had that  I contribute  my Vietnam stay for the cause , Although the VA has all the A.O. Presumptuous disease/ related diseases covered. its not on the list.

Yesterday I had a Dermatology Clinic Appointment, The Dr said they could not make a diagnose  from the Biopsy that was done 4 weeks ago  but said its not any form of cancer, she check the circles and two were faded somewhat I only had one  showing visually  , but wanted to see me back in 4 months to see how I am doing.

In the mean time she said if the others come back or they start to bother me   to just come to the clinic.

Buck.....FYi.....I have been going regularly to Dallas VA Derm for urticaria and itching on the lower half of body.   Dr. Cruz  is not Vet Friendly and  even rude,  in my opinion, in bedsude manners..  Try and see Dr. Jacob, who is Vet friendly, but she's only there on Mondays.  The meds they have me on do control my itching and hives attacks..

Thanks Wayne I will , I am not sure of the name of  Dr that look at me the other day she was fairly nice little bitty thang skinny but was alright.

I think I seen Dr Cruz the first time  he was tall about 6.4 or so?  he did a scraping and he could not diagnose this  so he brought in two more Dr's  one Doc was the head Dr of the Dermatology  Clinic  she was nice looking lady about in her early 40's blond,I think her name is Jennifer w Dharmsi MD she is a Fee Basis Physician I will check myhealthyvet Notes and see the names.

Buck........that was not Dr. Cruz.......he's a short guy about 5-8 tops.  One of those doctors he brought in might have been Dr.  Cruz.  He is not seen in the Dermatology Clinic much, in fact I have personally seen him only twice over more than two years of regular treatments.........the one basically running it is Dr. Jacobe.   She is Vet friendly and helpful.
