What date should I put for the IU claim?Went to school last few years.Should I put 09 date or 2017 date?

Im guessing you are asking what date you last worked, and only you know that date.  No, school is not "substantial gainful employment" unless you work for the school.  This said, you will need to answer the criticism as to why you are going to school if unemployable.  (Ok, you go to school to meet women...lol.   This reminds me of Dead Poets Society, where he asked the purpose of poetry.   He said it was to "woo women".  

Did your doctor say you are unable to work due to sc conditions?  Read your file, and if he did not say that, you will likely need an IMO/IME stating same.  Well, that is if you want approved for benefits..you dont need that just to "apply".  

One gal, when asked what degree she wanted in college, responded:  "I'm working on my Mrs degree".
