Glad to hear your claim is done, and sorry bud the Govt always takes it sweet time. I just had a claim close for 1 condition and it took me 5 weeks to get the letter. Have you seen a change on Ebenefits on the disabilities listed page, or has your % gone up on your Benefit letter? Good luck and keep us posted. God Bless

Yes, I went from 20% to 60% after the decision and can see the new ratings. Just curious how they came up with the retro pay and convalescent pay. Would like to look over the break down as it seems a little off and would like to appeal if they didn't pay me out correctly.

Ok, I will give you a formula.  You take the "new pay" minus your old pay times the number of months since the last pay raise.  You have to do this again for each time they change the comp scales.

Remember, you dont get paid until the first day of the month AFTER your effective date.  So, if you were awarded benefits on with a March 4 effective date, your first month is April 1.  If you give me the effective dates, and your number of dependents, hadit members may help you figure out if they paid you correctly or not.

If you think the effective date is wrong, then you can consider filing a NOD.  Remember, the board can only adjuticate issues you file a nod on, so you can "agree" with the 60 percent rating, but dispute the effective date.

My case was closed on 7/06/2017 and shows as Decision Letter Sent. I still have yet to receive my letter. Anyone else's letter taking forever?

They didn't send it. Go to your POA or the RO and have them print decision narrative, Codesheet and notification.

Complain. The uploading, but not sending is getting to be prolific.
