Unhealed surgical wound

Rate this question

Question

I had a procedure back in June 2013 by the military which didn't heal. I separated in August of 2014 and had another procedure to close the wound in December 2014 done by the VA. Unfortunately, the attempt was not successful and fast forward to where I am now with still an unhealed wound. I filed a claim upon separation which was rejected and I have appealed. Based on experience, what should I do to win compensation?

What was the reasons for denial?

Order a copy of your cfile and read it.  Ensure you have all 3 Caluza elements documented:

1.  Current diagnosis

2  In service event or aggravation.

3.  Nexus
