After Denials for OSA both direct and secondary to PTSD, this spring I decided to spend the money on a IMO and do the claim right. I contacted Dr. Anaise and was told to send all my records, decision letters and $1500. After about a week I was emailed with a final IMO report that was around 40-50 pages. It was excellent & well researched. Within 6 weeks of submitting the IMO with a supplemental claim OSA secondary to PTSD was approved. Al Personally, I'd fire her but. She is feeding the same bs that the VA feeds the VSO when they "train" them. Of course you have to have new evidence if you go for an increase. Duh. She is back peddling on you. Look up diagnostic code for ischemic heart disease, dc 7005. Compare your symptoms now with the criteria for the next bump in ratings. Get your doc to say that he has treated you, and review of your current baseline you have "X" (ex MEt=5) that would equate to the next higher level, etc. He doesn't have to have a dbq for an increase in ratings. He can have an electrocardiogram, etc. an

Ok... lets back up a minute.....No veteran should have to ask and kiss butt to get Items that are medically necessary.... To be sure my Prmary care doctor did refer me to PM&R to get the exam for the power chair, and the doctor that did the exam... did recommend approval for the chair.... My initial comments were not about not getting a chair, there were about extraneous BS being put into the medical records that have no bearing on the care we receive. Broncovet just assumed it was about not getting a wheel chair as it appears you have also.... I got the darn chair they always approve it
