  1. Sir;  I have a question?  Can VA doctors go to other VA doctors and have them change specific diagnoses?  What are the validity, ethical, and legal issues involved?  Thank You,  Mark

Just had a C&P finished for PTSD, MDD, GAD, which are now according to the examiner being service connected.  During the appeals process, had this psychiatrist go to a psychologist, who treated me for 5 years for severe, and chronic ptsd and mdd w/ psychosis.  In an attempt to alter the overall diagnoses to a personality disorder, as the psychiatrist was siding with a diagnoses done by a C&P done in 2010.  The Psychologist, dis-agreed and stated he would only alter the diagnoses to severe-Complex PTSD, which is a BRAVO ZULU to the Doctor that treated this Veteran for 5 years!!!
