  1. Back in June I received this letter from the VA. I am tdiu for Parkinsons disease as well as anxiety disorder. I to freaked out as I wa worried that they were about to pool the rug out so to speak. a week later my so contacted me about filling out the did you work form . I filled it out and it all went away. I beileve that this is one of those letters that is automatically generated when other forms are sent. I.E. did you work form. If you are IU and work then be prepared to be questioned as you should be. Just my opinion Chris
  2. I agree a MAN takes care of his kids and I do. My problem is I have an ex wife that has stated that she doesnt care if I live in a box as long as I pay . She has proven over time that she will try every trick in the book to get more money from me regardless of her own finacial situation. For 4 years I gave 65% of my before tax income to my ex and lived off 180 a week . This whole time her income escilated and she refused to inform the courts of her income. end result I am now several thousand in the whole as 65% didnt equal my obligation. This is a good law. As for every man that is a deadbeat there is a women that is greedy.
  3. I am one of those 100% vets and while the thought of being usefull to society is like nervona. I am realistic about my ability to do that. Don it states that in your bio on the left of your post that you are 10% if that is incorrect then disregard this but, there is more than just 80 numbers beyween 10 and 100%. For myself being 60% physco and 50% parkinsons and 100% TDIU at the age of 37 I would love to be able to pull the bootstraps on ( hell I would love to be able to make love to my wife ) but some things are not meant to be. Being told that i could no longer works was a very bitter pill but one that must be swallowed. After several years I manage to keep that pill down the last thing I personally need is someone telling me wouldnt it be nice to work again. It would be nice to make a time machine and go back to where it all began do it all over again but alas while more likely that wont happen either. Just my opinion take it for what its worth. I am glad I have the ability to make it one day at a time. I get the code, Chris
  4. Thanks for the speady replies. I was rated permanent and total including chapter 35 bennies. I have not worked and am on the final stages of independent living. We were looking into wood working as a sastainable hobbie but my neuro said and i quote yopu must be outta your mind. Seems he thinks there is a safety issue with power tools and Parkinsons disease go figure. Never said I was the sharpest tool in the shed. Now we are looking at digital photography. Still I wonder how shaky hands and photography will work out . Thanks all. Chris
  5. Hey all like the look of the new site. I received a letter a couple of weeks ago that the va was going to require me to go thru a new c&p exam. 2 years ago I was rated 80% paid 100% PT individual unempoyablity. Now they are openning it back up and are going to require me to take another round of c/p exams . Is this normal ? How often can I expect this to happen? Thanks chris
