  1. Below is a copy of the letter I received from the VA about VA Schedule for Rating. Good Afternoon, Mr xxxxxx: I appreciate your bringing this matter to our attention. It helps to have real Veterans' anecdotal perspectives to remind us of the importance of our ongoing work. We are currently in the process of revising the Audiology section of the VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD). We have assembled a work group of six MDs who are practiced clinicians and experts in hearing disorders. The work group is in the latter stages of drafting an updated version of the criteria for hearing loss and tinnitus. Once their revision is complete, it will go through our chain of command. If approved, it will be published as a proposed regulation and eventually a final regulation. While this process may take some time, I wanted to assure you that VA is working to modernize its disability ratings criteria. I also want to thank you for your sacrifice and service in our Marine Corps. When I was on Active Duty with the Air Force, I was first assigned to a fighter base where F-16 engines roaring less than 100ft overhead became the background of everyday life. Have an amazing weekend. Very Respectfully, R. P. Watkins Regulation Staff Compensation Service Veterans Benefits Administration US Department of Veterans Affairs
  2. All my C&Ps were done on separate dates and each C&P on that date was done for a single specific condition listed on my claim. I didn't have one C&P for everything listed on my claim.
