I had this problem and I call the SSDI office and you can ask when did va request for your records

either way if it is through VA or private doctor it can get approve just harder to do because of the money they paid last year, also they will fit you for another brace from VA and say you don't need that brace but we will fit you with another one that wont damage clothes. This is what they are doing if they want to.so what can we do, appeal for years? THATS VA, its what they do give and take

they are getting very strict on the back braces they even want you to get a new one that wont wear clothes from prosthetic but if you can show how it damage your clothing it will get approved .I am going through the same thing I was paid last year but not this year or not yet anyway.

I have a question I just cant find the answer for a friend that lost her husband from A.O.or it was determine if was from that anyway she said she receive a letter from VA saying they owe her $150,000.00 because of this. justrluk, I just receive an approval for wrist brace but they denied the back brace saying I needed to take some worn clothing and a new prescription to prosthetic saying I need this type of brace, and go to primary care to get a new brace something that wont wear clothing. I was told the supervisor had complaints about not answering the phones so she is answering and giving the info over the phone after I call her I had the letter the next 2 days. Not sure if it is deposited yet got lock out my account. I think the number or ext 6162

Chuck75 who knows if it will help, unless it's tried.good point My first appointment is 5-21 and I will be there. Massages works for me a little while. I met this big Chinese lady while in Flordia that was doing them at a market 20 an hour full massage and as soon as she touch my back she told me everything I had going on with my back and right where it was coming from when she finish I was walking and feeling better. I try anything to get rid of pain.

Thanks everyone for the info I guess it works on some and some it don't. We are having a lot of rain this year and rainy weather makes old "Arthur" hurt all over. I will give it a try anything that cut my pain level by 1-2 points will help. I heard some good stuff about the treatment just hope it helps me. Accidents happen even in peace time that could be PTSD,example 1979 Hunter Army Airfield Savanah GA . I was covering a rangers jump on post about 100 rangers as they was jumping they begain to tangle up about 30 of them I had bodies, bones, and men some living some not all over the place. If you go to the RO to carry paper work you will see employees walking around, eating, laughing, like they could care less, and that's all the time.T8r whats the difference, war time or peace time vets we both had a job to do peace timers volunteer for that crap don't knock another vet because you don't know what that man been through. You may work at VA but you don't know everything about VA

I just had to get a prescription fill today for cymbalta BCBS says $345.00 for refill under my wife Blue-Cross plan,so I told them to try Care Improvement the results was $300.00 difference i paid 45 bucks for it. I have nothing but good things about this company .glasses,minor dental,nurse visit once a year. VA wont pay for cymbalta.but thats what they want me to take. Glad I find them they help in a lot of ways. I have nothing but good things about them

Hello everyone, I Just have to share this I was offer some insurance by a door to door salesman a couple of years ago never paid anything it has prescription,dental,eye glasses and travel pay in which I just find out about. I was told if you have diabetes than it was free maybe I miss something but I have not paid anything nor have the others that sign up,my sister in laws all 5 signed up and a few more people. Travel pay is 45 cents a mile with care improvement dont know what VA around 40 anyway i go to gym twice a weeek for 6 months 200 miles round trip per week or 160.00 per week not bad. But I just wish I knew about the travel pay 4 years ago.They are a good insurance just thinking how they survive

Had face to face hearing at RO with judge sep 2012. File sent back to BVA feb 2013. Ebenefits shows with VLJ as of 1 feb 2013. If your hearing was at the RO was this a Dro hearing or a BVA hearing ? It makes a different

Sorry Teac,my mind was some where else just buried a class mate of mine.But yea it is a good ideal to keep some appt.with the VA like MH appt but most important . appt is with private doctor and I ask to send VA a report. The thing is my PC doctor would not write a prescription for my pain pills anymore so I ask for another doctor and I get the NP but she wrote 5 refills of hydrocodone where as my primary doctor wouldn't. I will have to see her again when the meds run out thats all. I use a lot of secure messages to my dr I would email him tell him i think I need an xray of my back,then all I do is go to xray dept or what ever the problem be without going in to office this was working good saving VA money and freeing up space less office visits. i did not know the secure messages is part of your medical records until I got a copy of them and they are included.

TMOE, Some times a veteran has no choice, even if they have other health care or insurance like me they still need to use the VA for some issues. Why don't you have a choice with private insurance' choose wisely'
