  1. Thanks for the feed back. I might seek P&T through an independent medical opinion but I won't need that for this. I went down to VA to get a copy of my award letter and possibly a letter from the VA that state because I am 100% that I am considered unemployable. The person that helped me looked at my records online and wrote a letter that I was P&T. I don't think officially that is correct but that is what she did. I didn't object but just went with the flow and figured it all to God's favor. I have already sent this letter with the first page of my award letter stating that I am rated 100%. That should do it. Yes I owe about $10,000 on the loan. It is worth pursuing. Yes I get SSDI. But if I was rated P&T I could get health benefits for my son and wife and I am sure other things. But I am not going to push it right now. I will think about what you have suggested and decide later. My award of 100% is not yet a year old. I am very lucky and blessed to have it. Now with my student loans being discharged I am a happy camper.
  2. I am trying to get my Student loan discharged. You need to have proof from the VA that you are either TDIU or P&T disabled. My problem is I am rated 100% and according to a letter from the VA I am not indicated as TDIU or P&T disabled. Has anyone heard of this? To discharge my loans I need the magic words unemployable or permanently and totally disabled. Since I am already 100% because of Bi-polar shouldn't I be considered P&T disabled? But the letter says because I am schedule for a review in a few years I am not P&T disabled and unemployability is not indicated. UGGGGH!
