  1. I tried loading multiple documents to the website; however, I get a error (0). I can only load one document, any suggestion? Documents in jpg format. joker
  2. PR, thanks for the response. I read through the reason for decisions and did not see any where about TDIU. However, the VA did attach this sheet (see below). Anyway, I will submit the TDIU form this week; however, I do not have any doctor letter verifying my work status and employability. Do you think I need to obtain such letter, or is there enough medical evidence to award TDIU. I am an old soldier and beleive in "One shot, one kill" method when submitting paper work; therefore, I want to get it right the first time. Joker
  3. No, some mentions of VOC Rehab and insurance information. The only mentions of tdiu is from the DAV stating I should complete tdiu form and send back through the DAV. What should the statement say, maybe I am missing it? Joker
  4. Philip thanks fro the response. The DAV sent a letter prior to the rating decision notifying me of my rating. When I got the letter they also included TDIU and insurance paper work. Joker
  5. Carlie, thanks for responding. Yes I recieved my rating in December 2011. I attached a copy of it on the original post. Joker
  6. Hello fellow vets, First I want to say thanks to Carlie and the Hadit website for assisting me in my awardment of 80% disability. It has been a long time coming. Now I need to apply for TDIU. After reading a few post on the website and researching the TDIU regulations, I believe I qualify for TDIU. I am currently unemployed based on service connections listed below. I am also waiting on my claim for Sleep Apnea secondary to PTSD which the VA said they would consider if PTSD is awarded. I also have a claim in for my right hand (Dominiant) injury increase and hemrhoids which was identifed having when I was in service. I served in the Army for twenty years and do draw retirement. I have two master degree, which are worthless because my disabilites prevent me from any employment. My question is should I wait for the results from the Sleep Apnea, hemrhoids and hand or should I apply for the TDIU now. Please see attached service connections. Finally, my award letter came in December 2011. The claim went in on April 18, 2011 for PTSD, Lower lumber strain, sciatic, sleep apnea, and hand injury increase, shouldn't I have recieved my retro for the increase from 30%-80%. Thanks, Joker
  7. , I went to the DAV at James Haley. Goto the 2nd floor. He seems very knowledgeable. Joker
  8. Carlie, I received my official letter from the VA itsofficial they increased me to 80%. However, still have not received retro its been three weeks. Because of my retirement from the Army I qualify for CDRP program where I can receive both diability and retirement. Also, the VA is still haggling over my sleep Apnea secondary to PTSD. Not clear what the haggle is for, the VA sent a letter to me back in July saying that if I am service connected for PTSD, they will consider the sleep apnea secondary. I talked to "Peggy" and he said even if the they grant service connection for sleep apnea it will only increase me to around 90% based on "VA math" does this sound right? Finally, I want to give thanks to Carlie and other fellow vets for their knowledge and wisdom during this waiting process. Thanks, I guess now I have to change my personal information on this site from 40% to 80% joker
  9. Hello fellow vets, I finally recieved something back from the registry exam I had a few months back. However, not clear what they are saying. I know I was exposed to burning fuels and other B____S____ in the air; however, I do have severe ashtma and service connected 0%, could I use this to elevate my rating to a higher percentage? Joker
  10. Gulfvet45, thanks. I wil keep that in mind. Joker
  11. I took the exam at Tampa VA, I can't get any one to give me straight answer on results. The progress notes are so vague, don't know what's going on. My question is will there be an official notice in the mail of results? Joker
  12. Pete53 , thanks for the response. However, not sure whet you mean? Joker
  13. Hello fellow vets, Two weeks ago I had my Gulf War Reg exam. Today, I went to the release of records department of the VA, and picked up the progress notes of the exam. The notes really doesn't say much, however, the doctor did place a statement paragraph in short it says, in his medical opinion I was exposed to unknown toxic waste and hazardous environmental conditions. My question is will I receive a a more formal letter on the examination? Joker
  14. Berta , lsounds like a plan. I'll get it out tommorrow. Here is the latest update with my claim. I checked ebenifits today and my claim went back to notification phase.Called Peggy at the VA, she said they decided on three claims, this explains the letter from the DAV, and deferred three other claims. Maybe they decided on the deferred claims. Things are moving so fast my head is swimming Joker
  15. Got it, should I wait until the official letter from the VA to submit said forms from DAV? or should I have this in the mail today? Joker
  16. Berta, yes the form came with the DAV letter. One letter had what was awarded, the other letter for life insurance, and two other letter 21-8940 and 29-4364 to fill out and return. joker
  17. Berta, thanks for responding. I am not sure what you mean by Nehmer claim? What do you mean Joker
  18. Hello, I attached a letter I received in the mail regarding my claim. I was shocked I recieved any answer this early. A littie back ground I am already 40% service connected for Scar, Lumbar Strain, knee condition, and Acne. I submitted my claim in April 2011 for PTSD from the GulF War, Sleep Apnea secondary to PTSD, and a increase for my back. I knew with this many claims, I wouldn't here from the VA for at least a year. I have been checking my ebenifits account daily and the strangest thing happen. On Thursday ebenifits said my claim was in the decision phase. When I checked it friday, it went to notification phase. The next thing I know it, I recieved a letter from the DAV in the mail on Friday stating I received a increase for my back, service connected me for PTSD 30%, and lower extremity 20%. It also mentions Sleep Apnea deferered along with two other claims. Any way, I went back into ebenifits on Saturday to check again, this time it said my claim is in the development phase (WTF). Not sure what is going on. I attached the letter for anyone to view and comment. The DAV also sent a letter saying I may be entitled to life insurance and to complete form 29-4364 and 21-8940. Not sure what is going on here Thanks in advance for your comments Joker
  19. it took me about a month. I went to the James Haley here in Tampa to the release of information department and picked up my results. Good luck Joker
  20. I tried locating a couple of guys, however, they are off the grid. Doesn't the va verify stressors before c&p exam Joker
  21. The other stressors are okay, just that one seems suspect. My understanding is the va verify stressors before c&p exam. Does this sound right? Joker
  22. Thanks, that's what i am saying I was on detail assisting. I Only was there for a brief moment and left. But the person was male, however could have been a tanker, all my other statements have pilot only c&p has female. Any way doesn' t the va verify stressor before c&p? Joker
