  1. Excellent question Hugh. How much time do you have to file your reconsideration???? The more time you have the better answers you will get from this board. Start building your reconsideration now and continue to submit good questions. SL
  2. That is the wonderful thing about one way communication with the RO. If what you sent them would win your case then, they will probably wait 2 years and say they never received it. If they can take what you sent them and use it against you then, they definitely received it. If you followed up by sending a hard copy RRR you would have a receipt and they would have 5 more pounds of paperwork to process simply because they cannot figure out how to let you know that they are in receipt of your electronic transfer. For more on this topic see:
  3. Nice piece of work Navy Wife. I sent the meat of your post to CNN. I think it got to the guy that paints the parking stripes on the parking lot. It's ok tho...they are just starting to like me...I have attracted some attention from them so far. I'll keep trying.
  4. Sure seems like you should get the "at least as likely as not" benefit of the doubt with your ENT weighing in on this.
  5. If they can cheat you out of your service connection with their C&P department, they don't have to cook any books because you don't exist.
  6. If the VA fabricated numbers to cover medical appointments they more likely than not fabricated numbers to cover claim backlogs. Claim backlogs was the previous (of many) major complaints. The VA buried the claim backlog complaint by reporting huge overtime numbers (at time-in-a-half pay) and what they dident work they denied. I would love to see a FBI investigation on that!!!!
  7. Now they have proof that they lied about the days waiting to see a Doctor. Now they talking Criminal Act!!! They need to investigate the math they used to reduce the backlog. Another Criminal Act!!! The number one way to reduce the backlog is to deny the claim...Poof! Gone!!!!!! Except now ITS A CRIMINAL ACT!!!!!!!
  8. This is a copy & paste from Berta: Amazing! Many of you know what a relentless advocate for veterans Charles Kelley has been. Here is his statement: from: http://www.2ndbattal...as/SpeakOut.htm
  9. "deny, deny, until the poor sob dies." Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a winner!!!!!!!
  10. Class action complaint!!!!!!! Take one complaint at a time and see how many Vets will attach their names to it. How many names would be proof that the complaint is validated and get the attention of a major media outlet? I still like: "C&P exams that are directed to be unfavorable to the Veteran."
  11. Berta, you have brought up a lot of questions that need answers. Perhaps they should be taken on one at a time to keep down complication. I have already seen a lot replies that are completely off base to this thread. If this "class action complaint" ever does get off the ground maybe this site could give it a dedicated area to grow. Who knows, their may be only a hand full of legitimate complaints and the rest are BS then, we could just close down this entire website. Dont take what I said personally. I have nothing but respect for you. Slowlane.
  12. This thread is slowly taking shape. We are getting many complaints about lies, C&P's, lies, appeals, lies, and wasted efforts in mileage and time. I was hoping that we could band together and come up with one complaint that we all shared and was a glaring problem that we could present to CNN or some news media that could cause the VARO's to experience some of the same pain that they issue to us. So far, I like C&P lies, fabrications and how they ignore the purely obvious.
  13. What I have in mind is to approach CNN and show them how claims are denied without a chance of rebuttal and then put into a waiting line that is 3 to 5 years long and getting the same denial without a chance of rebuttal. Hamster wheel.
  14. If you had a chance to "air" your number one complaint about the VA what would it be? 1. Medical care? 2. Claim backlog wait time? 3. Total communication breakdown (no way to make your point)? 4. C&P lies? 5. Hamster wheel tactics and deny deny until they die? (my favorite) CNN has opened the nations eyes over the medical scheduling crimes. Jeff Miller has said that "this is just the tip of the iceberg". CNN has a "Contact Us" link on their website. This might be our big chance of get some national attention on some of the above items if this (Hadit) website could unite together and go forth in numbers. However, sadly, this thread will die in less than three days. No messages will go forward to CNN. An opportunity to get some attention before the latest scandal blows over will be lost. Slowlane
  15. Most companies will make a desperate attempt to satisfy their customer by making immediate corrections to administrative errors. Not that bunch in St Pete. They figure the more they abuse you, the more likely you are to "go-away". I think that some serious firing needs to happen. Especially at the top. Also we need to vote out whomever is in office to show that we do have some power. Unless we march on Washington, the only power we have is the vote.
  16. Jeff Miller said that this is just the tip of the iceberg. That is one thing that he has got right.
  17. When you got to go all over the place to find a IMO at great time and expense I call it a VA crime. They have tons of doctors that specalize in Veterans problems and we gotta go outside for IMO"S? Bull Sheite! If we band together and march on the RO with local TV and Newspaper coverage we will get the "duty to assist" part of their job exposed. Would that look cool??? A great big sign that says "THE VA HAS A DUTY TO ASSIST" That includes getting medical opinions that favor the veteran. This site would not exist if the VA executed their Duty to Assist. They would help the Vet get his claim fairly processed with all the missing pieces that it needed. Herding Cats again?
  18. I'm in the same St Pete sinking boat mags. That is one mean bunch of people down there. I have many claims since 1998.....All Denied.
  19. I feel your pain... You are going to have to do a whole lot of research in a very short time in order to present your case in a strong paragraph. The data feeds lately are so overwhelming that a paragraph is too long. The people here are the best in the world and care more than can be expressed but they can only concentrate for a short time until you get their full attention. I feel your pain....keep plugging till you get some help....never know where it will come from....just keep plugging. I'm trying. Slowlane
  20. You are at 80%. What do they want to reduce? What are your percentages that got you to 80???? and what part of the 80 do they want to reduce. Be patient this is a lot of info to run thru the woodpile. More data please Slowlane
