  1. Apparently i recieved the decision for my increase which was positive with no retro it also states my claim for the SMC increase is pending approval for the exam I am getting on Thursday. Having ocd crammed research I know that I meet SMC L rules and regs so this sounds like I’ll just bring my evidence and it should go fairly smoothly so I think but I’m not blowing it off I always keep my alarm up. On another note I also received a letter that my appeal is finally back with the vet law judge funny how the VA hospital sends me to ultra sound just last week due to pains in the back of my leg but the BVa has yet to grant service connection... same with this headaches increase to 50% cause is possibly related to my skull fracture yet another thing left on my appeal to grant service connection. Can the BVA see my recent ER Ultrasound and or see my VES C&P this is getting old this game?
  2. I love being told no future exams as I’m P and T but here’s some more exams.
  3. I filed for SMC last April and wasn’t even on my ebenefits until my headaches went in for an increase. No Money rewarded but knowing that I rate at the least SMC L backdated 16 months makes me happy after my OCD research kicked in I have my exam Thursday and every C and P for my TBI cites I need my wife she’s my memory for just about everything, would that be enough evidence? From turning off the stove to using a gps if we are driving together to brushing my teeth at night. I’m done being embarrassed this will help her with everything just wish we would rate T but the requirements is being L...
  4. So I recieved my decision for my increase in migraines from 0 to 50% and they deferred my SMC aa based on the this exam. I’m already SMC S isn’t that AA? I get confused with the AA or is this where a possible change to L or T?
  5. Get a copy of the C and P what does The doctor say caused your adjustment disorder I was diagnosed with a chronic adjustment disorder due to my TBI. What does he explain caused it?
  6. Funny thing about that burn pit registry every time Ive logged on it says I have no deployments eligible even though I watched the burn pits at night when falling asleep to the red smoking sky in Bastion. I've called numerous numbers and emailed but no luck. Right now I'm ok as far as not having to do with my residuals of my sTBI but was diagnosed with seasonal allergies my va primary doc said it could have came from the burn pits when there and he dx me at 28. So now I take allergy medicine not life or death now. But the fact they said I was never there looks dumb with my other disabilities due to the deployment time. I gave up trying to registry early last year.... Is there any importance of this or since I'm 100 % P and T has no benefit for me? MESSAGE the records we have for you do not contain an eligible deployment. (See Below) unless when they say Afghanistan Bastion doesn't count
  7. There’s lots of other factors other then your numbers up one being how many items are claimed. Do they need any remands is their medical eviducks in a row. Did you call the BVA see if your claims been assigned a judge or a case worker st the BVA?
  8. Is there a way to put this as a title under the SMC list?
  9. Sorry I believe if I kept reading down it’s says it housebound is considered S and anything else is A/A can someone just confirm ya or nah to this statement...another ? It shows requested date as 4/14/2017 and I was was made 100 p and T for residuals ofmy tbi dated Nov 2016 I don’t care about EED just that I get what I’m fighting for so can they grant me at the L rate back dated it to 4/14 then turn it to the T rate dated now to save them 140k?
  10. So is it by definition housebound in laymen’s called SMC S. And when it’s increased to Aid and Attendance when you get that letter like L- T? Just reading the regs and get confused when I don’t understand the difference...
  11. Buck52 I’ve Gotten a exam scheduled for SMC makes me nervous. I’ve tried to look up past SMC T cases and none had there TBI 100 P and T with listed secondaries At 30 50 and 10. Has anyone seen a case as mine would be as far As already service connected?

    Exam

Just scheduled my SMC exam hoping it goes right the first time not sure if this is where I request the type of SMC it’s been pending since 4/14/2017? But I never requested a letter type L or T... I can guarantee they will not give A 32 year old T no matter how bad my residuals are and how bad my cognitive awareness is..
  13. I was on the same boat I was TDIU and SMC S and it was explained to me that you keep SMC S he explained it as asuch the va grants you a higher rating the raters look to see what your making and give more if it’s warranted or keep it the same just as long as it’s not less. Which I think was the BS they told me so they didn’t have to separate my PTSD and my TBI...
  14. I swear the VA are really pissing me off now. spoke to a man yesterday Yeha they have everything they need to make an informed decision 24 hours later they are requesting an examination now . Luckily I have an appointment due next week with my psychiatrist to fill out the forms, I don’t think this can be outsourced now saying 2019 is my claims completion date?
  15. I mean I printed out Nods and the 21-2680 for my doctor my appointment is on the 30th. When I called the VA like always he was helpful for once. I said the expected date has now changed to next month for it to be finished not January anymore was anything submitted in for my claim. He said it looks like they have all the evidence they need by means of my 6 C&Ps and doctors notes and opinions. I asked is that even possible to make a decision on my level of SMC without the proper 21-2680 he said they could but I should have my doctor go ahead fill it out to help with the decision. So I am guessing that’s the way to go?
  16. I like to see the stats of how many PTSD claimants with a TBI get one listed as a symptom of their sTBI...
  17. But I would still need to get a. 21-2680 filled out ahead by my doctors instead of Waiting. The two months their telling me I should know an answer by which means their are just going to schedule me for another exam in two months and then wait another few months for their decision. The dog and pony show is easy to see when you call them on their Bullshit, or I’ll just walk into the RO ask what their looking for request a VES exam and get it done. I’m fed up with the VA delays the woman on the Whitehouse line was like I have vets waiting decades for what you’ve gotten do you want me to send in an inquiry asking why are you finally Getting around to what i request in April of last year, I politely said I’ll get back to you and hung up....
  18. I just read this in detail and now I’m searching for a Doc? Should I ask my Psychiatrist my neurologist has retired 2 months ago i am waiting for a new one since June....
  19. Thanks just found this in my research for For my next latter step on the SMC scale. I have a current claim open for an increase they are looking to see if I qualify which I do in fact I qualify for T if I’m granted to L first. I hope I make it that long hate how unpredictable sTBI could show up out of nowhere “like my migraines which have been increased to 50% but still awaiting the Botox for any relief will be better then sticking my head in a vice and squeezing...
  20. It looks like I need to get a IMO statement about my TBI situation and my wife who is the one who really runs the house and if she’s gone I’m lost in the sauce. Pretty much sums it up, Buck do you have any Dr out there who specializes in the letter recommendations for T their wanting? Other then this rehab my primary suggested me to go to I really don’t have much evidence except my TBi C&P my wife accompanied me to so I didn’t forget anything...I’ve never had a 21-2680 filled out even when I had been approved for a S so I’m just looking for help helping a doctor to fill out my 21-2680?
  21. I had 1 C & Ps for my TBI alone just on December of 2016 and two in 2017. How do they not have enough evidence they also have my TBI and headaches exam from my SSDI award.
  22. Thanks just checked ebennies today and it’s says decision sent but now it doesn’t say compete instead it’s says review of evidence now the decision is sent. But it lists my secondary to tbi headaches as 50% previously 0 EED is one month before I filed they are so confusing. My P and T rating which was my TBI residuals unchanged at 100% combined with my 30 for scars and 30 for dizziness for my P and T rating.Nothing has changed as far as my SMC S showing so hoping my pending SMC increase will be rewarding? I’m hoping this review of evidence instead they take get it right the first time I’m walking into the RO tomorrow since I live ten minutes down the street and asking what is going on Buck should I request then to see if T is being considered the guy behind the desk was a VSO and has always helped me with my claim issues?
  23. Agreed but I do have to say emailing the secretary about my cue claim and Hickey and Ted Ebert sparked something and I received calls From the RO about my then pending appeal which they then took action filed Nod/cue in Dec 2015 claim decided by May 2016 after my emails and calls to case management of course... sending a polite email to Mr Ebert who is in a different role will still help you out if he can
  24. The SMC T says you need to have SMC L first established before asking for SMC T. Also my residuals of my TBI are already at 100% and P and T do that’s another block. The VA loves to give you a little extra just enough to see if you will stop seeking the benefits you deserve. Well I will definitely be requesting T if I am granted SMC L this week.... thanks for the reminder Buck I wouldn’t have looked into it in detail like I did today sorry the pic is sideways IMG_2898.pdf
