  1. where night I see it when I log into the site? It’s says nothing about likely or not likely to improve...woman on phone after 52 minutes of waiting your first review 20 25 and every 7 years after that thanks for the help my fellow members always something to panic about well I’m alittle bit relieved this would get so repetitive after every 3 years...
  2. I have already been approved for SSdI I meant it’s been retro to 11/11/16 will I get a review every 3 years even after the VA has said it’s permanent?
  3. Sorry this was my first post catching by you I am a fellow TBI denial case fighter who won my BVA Case.So if you have a need to know questions and want an answer immediately send me a message or if you search my phone number it’s on here somewhere I already have one other tbi member I text back and forth...
  4. Curious how many reviews will they be sending me to as I am in my thirties? Still recieving monthly treatment and am P and T as far as the VA is concerns not worried I’ve been told my days for improvement are over just making life more manageable with treatment....
  5. I can remember being a frequent violator of this because of OCD and short attention span no excuses I know now. Just remember search your question first sometimes it’s been asked before, if not then post....
  6. I know this is used for my children if and when they go to college they are 1 and 3 I was awarded DEA benefits Nov 2016. Would my 10 year clock begin for them if they are still minors or does this only apply to my wife since she is an adult?was reading a post for a few of you guys and panicked. Sucks my wife just graduated with her masters March 2017 and I was awarded benefits November 2016 would it be hard to possibly recoup 5 months of DEA and help towards here debt is better then none?
  7. Anyone else get excited at first when the phone people give you a suspense date just for you to wait for the day to get here, like when you ship overseas and you count down each day until the day you come home. But wait just wait we missed something suspense date has changed the day it was suspensed too, like getting unknown extension on deployment to shovel shit for months until your knee deep.... No issues just curious who else can understand this analogy?
  8. The county council members asked if me and my wife if we could be there when the bill is signed into law next Thursday. I graciously excepted the invite, this whole process started this past October didn’t know it was such an ordeal to get a change to the tax code in the county, I just knew that there was nothing mandated by the state as anyone can see in Delaware. But hell here is a start to maybe more to come in Delaware.
  9. Glad to announce the law in New Castle County Delaware has been updated to anyone who is found to be Permanent and totally disabled by the VA will be granted a residency exemption to their disability exemption standards for property taxes and such. Basically if you just moved here you don’t have to wait 3 years to get this exemption it’s automatically given to you and your new assessment for your home...
  10. I had something similar with my P and T appeal. So my attorney filed they NOD and before it goes the BVA the RO reviews it certifies it send you a SOC before it goes back to the board in our cases the RO changes their mind and grants you your appeal before going to the bVA. Very uncommon but much appreciated in our cases...
  11. What deductions am I looking at as I am Permanently and totally 100% in the VA and Collect SSdI from SSA?
  12. Apparently I applied on the 5th and it’s pending must have forgotten. The man was like condescending when I asked how long does this normally take he said not long at all. I guess I shouldn’t have been sarcastic when I said yeah just like 6 years waiting for an appeal is quick....sad thing was is i was serious about it being quick I just wanted a guess to how long i wait
  13. Glad it’s only going on one year I better get on it I’m confused I was made 100 IU but P and T on Nov 11 2016 but 100 scheduler P and T this last September either way i better calm tomorrow it’s a snow storm here so now I’ll do my research before my doctors appointment on Friday not sure if it’s automatic wife was concerned when here life insurance said I don’t qualify due to my sTBI. Thanks buck
  14. Is there Life insurance our there other then the VA SDVI insurance plan basically covers funeral cost if im lucky for my wife, my recent award was my increase from 70% to 100% for my TBI award letter dated September 22 2017. I met with a financial councilor who said I was eligibile for his listed life insurance companies due to my disabilities but my wife is. I know being just over my one year since my new rating and I honestly had no intentions of dieing so I just shrugged insurance off but I just wanted to know they will be ok if I pass kids and wife. Not sure how DIC works I’ve only been P and T since 11/16 and married since 9/2/11. What’s the criteria and will my kids still be eligible for. Their DEA benefits?
  15. What’s in your wallet? Sorry I’m a smart ass
  16. Not going to jinx myself but it’s a long process to begin and is almost over the first hurdle. Been working with the county to get tax exemption law changed for any P and T 100.... I’ll post when. It passed don’t want to give false hopes
  17. Like he said if you have been out of treatment for years they just want to see if you’ve improved so to save them some money...
  18. Nope it just sounds like a company that the VA uses for when they outsource your exams due to wait time called VES except the veteran does it kinda like an Independent Medical Opinion as long as the doctor is in the field of whatever your getting examined for had they not been on California I may have tried to use them.
  19. Just curious what was your range of motion was for the 10% intial exam but with the Rom in being both at 85 I would think your increase will be granted your guess is with the raters. My guess is 50% but I know that could be wrong so I’ll say 30-50% for a “ROTR” range of the raters...
  20. You may get lucky but unfortunately I doubt it, it has to be the exact phrase and before someone disagrees with me I want to bring up my last exam from last year which the doctor states “it is at less likely as not” and I am still waiting on my appeal for the next step which was remanded due to this error. They stated the doctor could be contacted to clear up the typo but if they are not around anymore then another exam will be ordered.
  21. That is what I meant the Special Adaptive it was pending decision approval then back to gathering evidence in three days...
  22. When you call the 1800 number does it show that’s it been flagged for hardship yet or that it’s still pending your hardship to be granted?
