  1. The pages I gathered were the last bit of help advice from case management before they were their phone service was shutdown for actually helping us vets to much!!
  2. Thanks Berta I was told my family will be retro in February their part of my SSDI. I setup my direct deposit for my retro and my first payment is a month away he ventured to guess as my claim has moved faster then any SSA claim he has ever seen. I guess bench decisions are uncommon. As far as my appeal I was told today a decision was mailed out not a remand as far as they can see I said ebenefits says remand not sure the accuracy. So now it’s a guessing game...sorry if I haven’t been on here as much ill be back on here fulltime 2018 taking my week break with these kids!
  3. Well on a positive note i got my decision from SSA finding me disabled. One week exactly so mine is mover faster then expected...
  4. So I noticed on ebenefits remanded my two issues again. After two C&P in 2010 and then again 2017. I’m waiting to see what it could possibly be remanded for again. It’s my fault I’m sure they were planning on denials after the regional doctors dx saying neither issues happened. Then I went to my records gathered 125 pages of my records citing my dx Of each claimed issue. Not to sure what’s left..??? Any ideas anyone , I’ll take guesses? Magic eight ball...
  5. I had set up an account on ssa.gov before I filed it said I am eligible for 1652 that was Jan 2017 not sure if the SSA 2% raise gets added to my since I was approved for the onset of Nov 2016. I’m almost at the end it’s time for the Christmas trips to begin... Merry Christmas everyone
  6. I am and have been and will be going to an inpatient treatment center next year. But good looking out Buck.
  7. I’m in my 30s and I can expect a review from SSA for my SSDI award. But since the VA has made it P and T would it be dumb of me to assume that SSA would say the same TBIs don’t just magically heal over a night?
  8. Ouch Gastone what if he has a proven hardship then it could be a lot less. Please add more details
  9. The advice I got from the office of case management when it comes to my appeal and evidence is write a statement citing what evidence you are giving them and what you waiving your right for the RO review. Send it fedex the letter and evidence to the BVA center took about 3 weeks to be put into my appeal waiving the RO review. I did this for 13 pieces of evidence for one appeal. Right now that appeal is in the decision being sent phase since the 14th... doesn’t have to be fedex either I used the post office if you want to do this i have been successful in doing. This I have to dig up the address if you want it
  10. I didn’t even know what SSDI was until this year then filed in January. My Va claim was in the works that was finalized in May backdated last November for my P and T, rated at 100 % scheduler in May. Then after I was granted The Va stuff I searched on google and hadit on how to speed up my SSA claim so I got through my first two denials rather quickly. Then comes round three the hearing which I had an inquiry in July put in to schedule my hearing two weeks later it was scheduled a week before Christmas ironic. He reviewed my record and asked me about my past 9 jobs in the past 6 years and why they all fired me. He said This is your bench decision full approval for everything you’ll get the written in a week. I’m sure that won’t be the case since a week is Christmas but fingers crossed for soon. When the written does come I can’t find anything about bench decisions and how soon after do benefits start? I’m not worried about the retro it’s only 7 Months total after the 6 are minuses of the 13 Months if that sounds correct.... not gunna lie I feel like I’m on those final 2 months of paid vacation in the Military
  11. Thanks i know when I filed I would get 1652 monthly not including my kids or wife...
  12. Even so with the judge he was like I hardly do this ever but I’m giving you this grant as a bench decision and you will have the decision in one week not 2-4 Months like most. Yeha I have a wife and 2 minors 3 and 7 Months old. Don’t know how it all works for the family benefits I think it will only be 50 percent added onto my benefitw is I’m reading that correctly seems very low for having two children and a wife but every little helps. If that is correct please can someone confirm this sounds right?
  13. Just a heads up if you are P and T and your claim wasnt expedited do like I did and notify your senator or congressman’s office. They will put in an inquiry which then my was hearing was scheduled two weeks later. I didn’t mind the 4 month wait for the hearing I’m glad I got it scheduled quick and not 18-24 Months later. If you don’t know one in your state do what I did google your state or your county I. Your state congressman email/ phone number call his office say your a disabled vet who needs help with his hearing..
  14. SSDI was approved don’t know if this would help if I ever apply for SMC T with my P and T rating for my residuals, neurocognitive disorder, and PTSD. Unlike the VA they separated my issues. Also my headaches were in their decision and the VA said they were 0%..
  15. Yes if on the 21-4138 you put exactly what you doing requesting reconsider for the disability. And then when picking the disability I think your only choice is to click increase but the form should get the point across for what your doing. I would follow up with a call tomorrow to get the confirmation that it was correct way of doing it. I want to say check the Vets.gov on the claim just so you see the new format of claims when submitting in new evidence as long as you have a cell phone that can get a text or call with your number code.
  16. Good deal with these increases nothing for the past few years was BS...
  17. I was granted SSDI sorry for the confusion I was made P and T back in November... I was saying I don’t really know what I get with SSDI
  18. I also want to point out I didnt use an IMO but rather a Voc Assessment done by Patrick Clifford which was used in my hearing and cited by the job and the Voc expert they called he mentioned in the hearing he wasn’t needed due to the assessment I had done was sufficient in stating my limitations. A big help to my case...
  19. I’m hoping my medical appointment catches something on the day after Xmas for what causes my headaches but I’ll most likely be disappointed but at least they are trying now instead of pumping me with pain killers for another decade!
  20. I was amazed the judge was like a bench decision in your favor after 30 minutes. Unfortunately I heard about my wife’s wait in the waiting room when I came out the police were there and they were described a crazy woman who ran in there and started taking pictures of documents and attacked the security guards... couldn’t make that up myself if I tried thanks for the info Vync
  21. Yes I got my EED back to last November when I was made P and T...still don’t know what benefits are included I really just applied not knowing what to expect
  22. I have only known about SSDI since this year when o filed in January. I had my hearing judge said he was going to do a bench grant which he said means he is finding me disabled. But I’m not sure other then more money as to what it means. I will be continuing my treatment every month. But what benefits do my family members get my two kids and wife specifically?
