  1. I did it Delaware says 3 years I ask around again but I tried my mortgage company I also tried and sadly I can’t remember who told me but i looked it up local property tax office in new castle and he said school taxes and property taxes 3 year residency in Delaware if anyone knows any different please give me a hand? And what is homesteading your home I’ve never heard of it...all I know is this my second VA loan the first paid off when sold the home..  Property must be applicant’s primary residence and applicant must have been living in the State of Delaware for a period of 3 years prior to October 1st of the year of application.
  2. I was told I have to be a resident for three years before they’ll do that I’ve loved her since June 16 2016. Just hoping to grin and bear it 2 more years then it’s 4500 dollars off a year... counting down that alone would stop our struggling that or being approved for SSA at my hearing in December... I’ve never looked into school tax exemption not sure if that applies to Delaware
  3. I still feel like a newbie every time I come on here . I used to have this OCD problem that I couldn’t be on not on here 24/7 either this or Ebenefots for hours a day because I could do it from my phone whatever this stuff, fluoxetine 10mg even at the low dose my behavior is changing. Im only checking this site once in the. Morning and once at night so now my family gets my full attention. If anyone has any TBI issues with their claims give me a private message. So my question is am I required to split 45 months between my kids and wife for my chapter 35 benefits or are they able to each get 45 months? I still have 19 months of my Post GiBill but that’s not transferable since I didn’t re-enlist even though I’m 100 P and T? Again I can’t thank you all enough and sorry for me fluiding all the posts everyday with responses...
  4. My DBQ for adjustment disorder just triggered two dbq for increases on my TBI and my PTSD.. Now combined for 100 scheduler P and T those are the results of them
  5. So Porgee under the radar having told his VA doctor about it... Now Im confused Access to V.A. Healthcare: If you sign up for a state-approved medical marijuana program, it will not affect your standing regarding V.A. healthcare. Even though the V.A. cannot prescribe or provide marijuana, the V.A. cannot refuse services to veterans participating in state-approved marijuana programs, especially if their use is approved by a non-V.A. healthcare provider. But effects being paid disability? I read opposite and its perfectly fine in the 14 states which its legal in my doctor can clarify it to me anyways... I don't mind giving up the Prozac if that is the only thing
  6. Sounds like the doctor are the new age drug dealer...I’m still unsure and I will be talking to my VA psychiatrist before I ever decide to try and use marijuana. Since it is prescribed to me here in De I don’t want to be doing anything to jeopardize my VA fight that seems to be all over now. One pending appeal that could be retro to 2010 which would grant me from 90% to 100% so a little retro I’m hoping. Now I know the VA docs here in DE are allowed to talk to us about using it for medical reasons just not allowed to a prescription... I pick up my card this Wednesday and see my VA psychiatrist on Thursday...
  7. Ok that’s the answer do you sleep with a Cpap
  8. Wow flashback and now I’m 100% scheduler and Permanent and total that was fast but felt like forever and the walls were caving in... now at least is they cave in I have a better group to help get some aid Iv e only called once on the talk show on Wednesday don’t remember what time it starts.... Tbird Buck Gastone anyone who know the time to call and phone number again?
  9. Likewise brother glad to have met your acquantaince on Hadit.com it would definitely be hard to have a Hadit cookout somewhere someday lol
  10. Topamax I was Prescribed 200mg a day as each day went by I literally could not hold a conversations with people Iost track of what I was trying to say I thought I was losing my mind. I was quick to get angry twice while driving with my wife I pulled over on the middle of a highway started punching my steering wheel never felt more out of control on my life. I’m glad I’m off of it it also made me feel like the world was spinning when I was sitting down. As you said I know it’s against the law but it’s not in my state and when you have a medical card. Totally legal for your ailments apparently I can even discuss the use and benefits with the VA doctors but they cannot give the recommendation.
  11. After my recent bout with the side effects of 200 mg Topamax I hoped there was other ways to regulate my medical problems from my TBI and PTSD. I recently was recommended and was given a medical marijuana card. I don't plan on using it and I'm unsure other then reading the benefits but anything has to be better then DOPE a MAX. I don't want to offend anyone so Ill just ask how many of the Vets have a MMC and see benefits? I've read the benefit of it with PTSD but I'm also reading the benefits of minimizing my TBI side effects... I'm just doing research just because I have a card doesn't mean I will use it I need to be responsible parent.
  12. My hearing is in December cant complain everyone told me years before I would have one it took under a year to get a in person hearing scheduled after I initially filed in January. Are you o SSDI as well Navy04?
  13. your telling me I know it takes time I have two steps until I can get to an actual hearing apparently that's the bread winner. I know there are things to do to speed up the process. I filed my first time in January denied in April denied reconsiderartion June appeal filed in July contacted my states congressman who put in an inqury for an appeals hearing based of my P and T the people will tell you 18-24 months for a hearing to be scheduled don't listen it took me 4 weeks to have one scheduled in December. Google can be a useful tool to figure out phone numbers and emails of state rep. that can help move your claim along. The two may not agree sometimes but they share evidence very quickly Don't stop until you have a in person hearing don't let anyone say go the reconsideration way its quicker unless your state requires it like mine does...
  14. Heres an example of a recent decision where the Vet had PTSD and claimed as a child had ADHD Citation Nr: 1622182 Decision Date: 06/02/16 Archive Date: 06/13/16 DOCKET NO. 15-45 539 ) DATE go to BVA.VA.GOV or google it. Just to glance I mentioned having ADD in all my exams as it is mentioned numerous time In my medical record as being exacerbating by my sTBI but before that was just given marine of the quarter and I was class leader in my MOS stll had the certificates just so they could not say that I was already having these issues prior to service but agree due to the impairment level 30%....
  15. I already have it from my C&P examiner that's why I went from 70%to 100% P and T for my TBI but when I applied I for the caregiver program I was only 70% for my TBI while my claim was pending now 4 months later its finally closed making me 100% scheduler for my TBI whch was also found to be P and T. I haven't spoken with the caregiver person to see if I can re apply or appeal her decision... Im sure shell be like yeah this is how you appeal my decision as I am the head of this program and what I say is goes... Again my long term memory is ok so I can drive I just get lost and cant use a GPS the reason my wife drives with me she holds on to the GPS.. The only place I drive by myself is to the VA hospital because I live right down the street street 5 minutes away.. My poly trauma counselor said I should be able to get it now because apparently I had very few doctor notes about my current situation which he said has changed but who knows..
  16. This is for the caregiver program I was denied thought being in this 9/11 forum I didn't have to specify sorry.. The reason I was denied was because I have a drivers license and the ability to drive even as I have showed that I needed assistance with navigating the fact I can get behind the wheel was why she denied me....
  17. I was denied at 90% P and T IU on my initial and reconsideration. Now my hearing is in December I currently go to the doctors no less then twice a month since I moved here over a year ago in Delaware. I've been on all sorts of meds but now after failing on Topamax never again they wanted me to take 200mg a day I felt like a zombie for weeks and the after effects were just as bad will I am just on Ritalin and Prozac mix together to soon to judge but seems a better combination 20 mg and 10mg. I know March of this year the SSA doesn't have to give weight anymore to VA decisions that's why Im worried...
  18. Im trying to figure out today why I was denied last time today. I will be talking to the woman in charge again who said my condition isn't severe because I can drive myself. When I applied in June was I was denied since then I have an appeal decided which granted me Permanent and total for my TBI which was just raised to 100% scheduler. What more would I need to show this program to help me and my family my recent C&P my wife explained how she has to be the one to use the GPS or we get lost?I was denied for the caregiver program.
  19. Yeha kids are 3 years old and 4 months old wife just graduated with her masters but of course it was prior to my P and T and now her school loan is about 24k. Family is all enrolled in ChampVA paid for the birth of my son. I called Metlife they said I had to wait until November o be covered on Dec.1. I didn't bother to check Delta dental I thought they may let me in early sine that's who I was with in the marketplace..yeha I definitely hate dental in my area its expensive almost charged my 3 year for cleaning her teeth with fluoride the hygienist just did it without asking.when they charged me I said you never asked me if it was ok I would have said no that stuff causes cancer and don't want it in her mouth ever again they apologized and reimbursed me...
  20. thanks I was told I have to wait for Metlife until Nov apparently I missed enrollment and its been extended the program to 2021 I never called delta but I my try its what I had through the marketplace... Thanks Berta
  21. What else is included in your rating I didn't think you could be rated at 60% maybe 50% plus something else?
  22. The last few question are the key as in my VES increase exam to see what the doctor believes is her dx or reasoning for SC what else did the doctor say...
  23. Just double check by calling RO that it isn't a fed. holiday that day of the trip or if they are closed. I never had an appointment its like anything else you wait your turn at the disability center of the RO, that is how it is in Philly or Wilmington DE RO. I've been to the Philly RO with my wife about 6 times including just the one was an appointment for my DRO hearing. I mean this is where you go if your enrolled in Voc Rehab for your initial evaluation. When is the big trip and which RO? If this is there address call and check before making the drive... Address: 4500 S Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216 Phone: (214) 742-8387
