  1. I'm sorry I did but I forgot guess recall.
  2. Apparently my PTSD claim has been contracted out today but I can remember the company for the Wilmington DE VA I just no it's not QTC. Does anyone have any guesses?
  3. So two years ago the VA diagnosed me with major depressive disorder with anxiety distress. Not service connected but fast forward to 2016 and I've won my appeal with my service connection for my TBI so now they say that along with my TBI my recent deployment was a stresser. So having theses two stressors will that take the diagnosis and combine it my TBI to say it is PTSD? Since my last exam said I had no TBI or stressors.
  4. Stressor has been officially confirmed now they requested a new C&P done. I am ok with that thanks #Berta the calls got through to someone yesterday.
  5. It's funny how much work you have to do to get the VA moving faster then a turtle.
  6. I do have one and I'll shoot him an email after I shoot an iris message, I am also calling case management to explain what's he waiting for now to write his opinion.
  7. Called the 18002683710 and spoke with a rep who said nothing has been requested since 2013. So I guess the Va lied to me when this is what they were waiting on. Nothing new there!!!
  8. Marine link doesn't work but I will call the number soon.
  9. I hope to post info as I was in the marines to help others.
  10. How does one contact Jsrrc? The rep at case management says they have it all just waiting for him to write his opinion with the facts. I was going to call just to verify he indeed has all the facts. Like I said I contacted Mr. McDonald and his office said my info was submitted to the leaders at my RO.
  11. My journey with the VA has been a long one but now I final have my TBI rated so I reopened my MH claim where they said it was major depressive disorder with anxiety. They said it wasn't service connected 6 years ago I thought when they deny it they review the files. So why do I have this MRS giving his opinion? My TBI and my deployment are both in my file just neither were mention in my first exam even though she knew about it cause I told her she just said not in file no review on the C&P. It's now going on 3 Yeats since I filed this claim and apparently they pushed my completion date 4 months because awaiting an Military Records specialist how can they deny my first claim of they didn't already review them?
  12. I filed a claim to reopen my issue in Febuary and then May came when my TBI was awarded . I more recently went into my RO going on two months now and have a statement of support and submitted all my deployment information again and my newly awarded issues and my disagreement with the exam given in 2014 and were it said no TBI on file. I have also submitted pictures of my last deployment of me in the desert. I hope because it's not an appeal that it will still be timely they decided every issue I filed I the past year was lumped all in one claim on ebenefits. I have been seen for every issue in my big claim now and just have this one issue killing my thoughts.
  13. So I won my appeal for my TBI in May and recieved my retro already. My only problem is my MH issue they denied because they at the time said I had no documented TBI on file in 2014. Now 2016 and that no longer is a valid excuse for my MH so I reopened my claim in Feb. I was told I might get a decision in a few months to just get.a decision on my MH to get another reevaluation and then a few more months after that. I emailed Bob in anger I said I have waited long enough to get my treatment 6 years to be exact and now I have more hurtles to go even after I won my appeal for my TBI. His response The Secretary has received your email dated July 11, 2016. He has forwarded your inquiry to VA leadership for review. Thank you for your communication. What does this even mean? I'm happy to get a response but would rather see more results.
  14. But in my statement of the case says depression if diagnosed with a TBI is supposed to be service connected this is copy and pasted from my medical record on the blue button from 2014. And still says in the opinion that no evidence of a TBI was reviewed but I guess that's why the medical opinion. Therefore, it is at least as likely as not that this veteran's Unspecified Depressive Disorder with symptoms of anxious distres is secondary to his Unspecified Trauma or Stressor Related Disorder
  15. I was just notified my PTSD claim is being looked at by a medical personal to give their opinion if a statement I submitted will be enough evidence to give their opinion. I wrote a statement at my Regional Office that I gave my timeline of deployment and the fact in my exam they didn't show that I was diagnosed with a TBI which now is in my VA file. So he said depending on their workload it could be a month but hopefully I wont need a 3 third C&P for the same issue.
  16. Sorry if someone already explained this but its means the doctors are reviewing your files to give their opinion.
  17. I haven't filed any new issues since Feb. because I have noticed it does delay your claim initially filed. They seem to lump them all together if you already have one filed. Now for a third time its been in preparation for a decision now back to gathering evidence. I am currently at 90% for the fact that I won my appeal 6 years later for my TBI. Now I chose to reopen the denial for my claim for PTSD they said was Major Depressive disorder with anxiety distress they said was and could be willful misconduct. But the appeal I won reversed the VA's findings and upheld my service departments decision. Now I have been on a silent mode on here because I haven't had a computer until this week because it took me awhile to set up after I just moved to DE. Does anyone have any ideas what they want now I called yesterday and all the VA could say is they are requesting records from my service department? They have my deployment records already I thought I can see them on ebenefits but it makes me mad I apparently had a deployment that lasted 2 days which was incorrect it was 2 days before I transferred from Khandahar to Afghanistan for 8 months.
  18.   is the reason given for the reason for 5 appts. That I am not supposed to actually attend. Only thing thing I thought of was no break space? Clueless
  19. So just this month alone I have had 4 days blocked off for just the doctors to look at my claim. I was notified twice by the RO I am not required to go but it was for the doctors to review my notes. I also have a 5th scheduled for tomorrow yet again not supposed to go. What is it that is really being reviewed that I am not required to be there.
  20. I am always reading the down side of the DRO review and wait times. The DRO is a heck of a shorter wait then an appeal even still waiting to be certified by your regional office doing it the process of the appeal the hard way. So say you have a DRO review you can have it in under 2 years have them quickly certify your appeal and admit all the new evidence you want without fear of going back to the RO to sit in a stack forever yet another benefit for the DRO review. No hiding new evidence out of your file for the RO to review. This is of course if they didn't grant your review at their level and if you think your retro is over 25k they won't/can't, that's what mine said to me. And I called every number in the book Peggy, office of case management, and the BVA. Just to see if any would lie or feed me BS most of the time they did. But some shed light on my claim.
  21. I had success with my DRO review but a different kind of success. At the review this is were you can introduce new evidence and get it put into to your file. As opposed to waiting for the BVA to say wait this has to go back to the regional office to get reevaluated and put into claim. Also I spoke with my DRO to have my claim certified and submitted into the BVA to await for my appeal in under a month another problem most vets say they are waiting on the RO to certify your appeal. The DRO will and can help with that time delay if you ask them to help speed the process mine even told me this is something I cannot grant but can help get your appeal moving to the board. So I don't think your chances of winning are high but I think even if you don't you can use the DRO review to speed up the process to the BVA. I am still curious why people say 3 to 4 years for a DRO hearing I waited 7 months but that was with the help of Ms Hickey not to sure who if anyone is still helping Vets with wrongfully denied claims.
  22. they service connected this year in 2016 my exam was in 2014 I choice to reopen this year to see if it changes. I also have three C&P on Tuesday and Wednesday. One for my residuals of my TBI and the other two were or my remanded issues. But nothing has been easy with me and the VA.
  23. Congrats on the win!!! Mine was granted on the 6th and I am still waiting. I was told it could take 60 days and this is with a hardship on my case. Maybe someone else can give a better guessimate.
  24. This is what was claimed in the hospital records, cerebral contusion with diffuse axonal injury to bilateral frontal and temporal lobes.
