    I ask the question to my Vso. I filed for 7 contentions yet only had 2 C&P exams. I was told that 4 contentions were looked at in my first C&P. It took them a few more mo. to get more info to substantiate requesting my last C&P which was my Ptsd contention. I was also told that they sometimes have enough info from smr, files, exams etc. I am in no way an expert on this...this is from personal exp with my claim.

    The younger ones getting out of the military now ARE filing more claims. I enlisted the first time in the early 70's. We didn't have the support system in place like the young troops do now. I don't mean to sound sarsacastic but its like they take 'em by the hand and lead through the process.

    Just trying to help...Mystic, the VA has programs such as Trauma Recovery Program (TRP) and the WISER for women veterans. Inquire through your local womens vet rep or your mh provider.     Yeah Capt. C. I hear ya! Don't know whether to laugh or cry :( ..I filed 1/23/11. R'cd Vcaa 3/2011..C&P on 7/06/11 and on 11/01/11. Claim went to Prep for decision/Rating on 12/14/11. I have 7 contentions plus Tdiu. Poa>Dav.

    Hi, I had my last C&P exam on 11/01/11 and still waiting. Claim is with Houston VARO.

    It won't be first time a Monsanto plant got sued. The residents of Anniston, Al sued a Monsanto plant some yrs back. Anniston was also home of Ft.McClellan and Womens Army Corps (WAC) training center as well as MP and Chemical schools. HR 2052 is before Congress now concerning this. I was a Wac in the early 70's for basic training and permanent party. I have many health problems related to this.

    I started out with a Premium level 2 account. When I got my letter couldn't get logged in because Deers had wrong birthdate. Faxed that to them. Had cust svc on phone and they were nice and gave me premium acct. then.

    Sorry I didn't get right back but I was away. Same here, I live 115 mi. away from RO in Houston. I went by before Hou Va appt. All lady did was ck my ID and did the request. Two or three wks later I rec'd letter with passcode from DOD San Diego.

    Yes that is correct. I am not rated right now for I have my initial claim in now.But I have Level 2 access.

    I believe the person that told you that was misinformed. I went to my RO, presented ID's and they submitted my request. That is another option.

    All I can say is "Nobody is perfect." I thought we were here to support, not agitate...Glad your getting that big chunk of change. I assure you things Will get better for you now. Good luck!

    I spoke to my vet rep who is the DAV supv and he told me Houston RO was trying to clear out 30,000 claims by the end of this past Oct. Of course like Pete said, they are in the same bldg. Just hoping that has helped clear the way for us...

    @Teac..How long ago was it that you filed your claim? I sent an iris in Oct because of no movement on claim. I r'cd a call, then written response saying they would schedule my 2nd C&P. So far no complaints with Houston RO.

    I filed claim 1/23/11. Poa Dav through Houston RO. C&P on 7/6/11 and C&P on 11/01/11. Went to Prep for decision/Rating Phase on 12/14/11. I have 7 contentions filed plus Tdiu. I am waiting...........

    Both were QTC exams with contract doctors. I got the shoulder C&P from Houston RO about 3 mo. ago.

    Please give advice. I filed my claim 1/23/11. I had 7 contentions plus Tdiu. C&P for shoulder on 7/06/11, and C&P for Ptsd and M. Depressive Disorder/MST on 11/01/11. Claim went to prep for decision/rating on 12/14/11. Question: Is it too risky to get a copy of the psyche C&P now for fear of delaying process?
