  1. I just saw your post Archer I sent my evidence to the BVA appeals Washington in 2012 August 2nd week , The decision letter for my claim 100% service connected PTSD came In Late October 2012 , On March 14, 2013 I coincidentally I checked my bank account for a written check for my Phone Bill and cried and nearly feinted by my surprise .
  2. Hi ! i am tony P, 11th cav killer troop my 1st question is to any former claims raters, what is the timeline from the BVA in Washington D.C. that granted my service connection disability decision dated November 9. 2011 to here of any news about my decision it is now february 16, 2012 ?? my file was sent back to NewYork VARO, in November 2011 and my second question is why didn't the Washington D.C. board assign me a rating, i did not see any rating on the service connection granted letter, for stress and depression, My third question, Did this claim go straight to the rating board from the BVA or did it go back to the predetermination team ?? the reason that i bringing up the predetermination team is that about January 4, 2012 i got a letter notifying me that They have recieced my application for benefits and they are going to review my claim for benefits i must say this i did not start a new claim!!!, i know that if I did this while i am in the process of adjudicating a current claim that my C file would go back to the begining stage that is how much i am aware of their gross incompentence and lack of real organization i know not to start a new claim at this time!!! this fight goes back 8 years of denying at the Newyork VARO level i have read the Inspectors Generals report about the Newyork VARO gross negligence in years past resulting in restructuring of its staff that is troubling to me, i would also like to know why has my decision has not been promulgated and what time frame should i expect it to be bear in mind that my C&P psych stated that i am capable of managing my affairs and no fiduciary is needed although my gaF score is 48 and i have been jobless and homeless more often than not in 20 years loosing my wife and family and limited closeness to my brothers sisters and mom i am very distant and prone to violece without meds what can i expect from the VARO by way of help i am currently homeless,
  3. Hi i am E4 Tony P 11th cav 70-73 & 75-78 i was granted a BVA service connected claim for depression and stress after 7 years of fighting this claim it was granted November 9, 2011 my first question is why did Washington Board not assign me a rating? and i was notified they sent my file back to NewYork VARO and my second question is, did this claim go straight to the rating board from BVA or did it go to the predetermination team at Newyork VARO ? my reasom for asking this is that i recieved a letter in january 4, 2012 that they recieved my application for claims benefits, i did not apply for any other benefits during the processing of this one because that would send my C file back to predetermination stage, i am asking anyone who was a former ratings officer what is the procedure for BVA granted claims ? and what is the timeline from BVA To VARO promulgation stage to my award ? my C&P wrote that i was capable of managing my affairs and no fiduciary was necessary
