  1. Thank you for the information on this, i will be sending it out tomorrow .
  2. I completed my C&P exam back in January, was completed in July and my seperation pay is currently being recooped and will begin to recieve my benefits next month. I was give a total of 80% disability for a variety of other issues than what i have a question on. I submitted a claim for both of my feet which i was told one time it was a foot deformity, next time a bunion, then gout, then bunion before i seen my primary care physician at the VA hospital who then said it was gout again. With my claim for the C&P exam it came back with a denial reason for both feet that "The evidence does not show a current diagnosed disability." Since then my feet pain has gotten worse, to the point where i have lost a job over them whole different situation i am dealing with there, and i seen a doctor under private insurance who said that i needed to see a podiatrist for bunion in both feet. It was going to take around 2 months before i could see one so i called my primary care doctor and he put in a referal for a podiatrist and i was seen with in 7 days, still amazed by that one but as time goes on i am more and more shocked at how well my VA hospital is working compaired to what i have always heard about them. The VA podiatrist said that both of my feet have bunions, athritis and burcitis and refered me to get orthotics made. What i am wondering is with these recient events would i have enough evidence to support a claim to change the denial reason? If so, then what do i need to do to have this reevaluated? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
  3. So i confirmed what i was suspecting through eBenifits after i had to create a new profile, the old one did not work right for some reason. According to the letter i can generate the pay is equal to 80% so i just have to wait for the packet to come in the mail and the pay to start, and yes i will be getting a small amount of change from them back paid from March 1st. I can honestly say the process was not as bad as i was expecting and it took less time that i was expecting also.
  4. I got a letter today from the VA Health Eligibility Center in Atlanta, GA about being enrolled in Priority Group 1 for the factors of: 80% service-connected Recently discharged Combat Veteran I understand Combat Veteran but am a little confused by the 80% service connected, I say this because yes i put in a claim but i have not yet recieved a letter from any one saying that i have a percentage yet. Does this mean that they have made a decision already and one department is just quicker than the other and i am concidered to have an 80% service connected disablity? Any one with any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  5. So i got a copy of my C&P exam today and after reading through it i now have a few questions that maybe some one can answer. The one thing that i really wanted to know about was the results of my EMG which came back normal. But as i am sitting here typing this i have the numbness/tingling in my left hand as i usually do and on that day did not have it once. Reading through there is a comment in there that it is rarely used for a decision (or something along that line) so do they really use it or not? Also with this same issue as far as i was told that this numbness is caused by protruding disc on c5/c6 but the xray did not show anything (not surprised neither did the one i had in service) but i have had an MRI done and the results were submitted with the file but it was not mentioned unlike the one that i had for my knees. I have a copy of the CD that it came on and the results is this something i should send to them or will they send me for another MRI if they feel it is needed? One more (I know i am asking a lot of them in this post) again with the xrays this time with my hands. I was told by a couple doctors that i have arthritis in them but the xrays came back with no findings but again so did the neck one and knee one that i had done before and then had an MRI which showed it in my knees. Will they ask for an MRI for this or will they go with what is in my medical records i submitted. Any help any one can provide is greatly appreciated because i hate being left in the dark on things like this.
  6. Pinky side and both c5/c6 are protruding according to MRI.
  7. The EMG was ordered when I told the C&P doctor that I get numbness/tingling in my left hand that was told by army doctor was caused by my 3 protruding discs in my neck. But I am starting to think different on that now because I have noticed that when my upper back hurts now(never did before in service) that my hand gets worse. So with this am not sure what to do to update this info with them or if I even can.
  8. Thanks for the information I will have to go see what they said since no one would tell me anything during and would like to know about the EMG results.
  9. I recently seperated from service and completed my C&P exam, the PTSD exam and was refered to get and EMG and that has been completed. I have heard that there is no longer a set time frame on how long it takes before i will hear something back on the results but what is looking like the average time for and answer from the VA? Also, one of my claims is for arthritis in my hands which is becoming more of a problem every day. My big concern with this is while i was in service as a mechanic i had a lot of problems being able to do my job with out them hurting and i made it very clear of the extent of the problem i had when i completed the exam. Now that i am out and moved on to a civilian job as a welder i am having a lot of the same problems. I am worried if i get any percentage for this is the VA going to say i am not able to do this job. I just started a couple weeks ago and do not want to get to far in working for them just to find out i have to find a new one. Any advice or past experiances with something like this would be helpful. Thank you.
