  1. Thank you, Senior Chief. Thank you very much for your support.
  2. I was assigned to the 487 Tactical Missile Wing at Comiso AS, Sicily and Norton Air Force Base in California. thank you!
  3. John, I met a gentleman who had a knee replacement and he had the same problem. He told me he was on anti-biotics for a couple of weeks. His leg didn't look good when I met him. Thank you. Bernie
  4. not at all. it is always good to hear from other vets and what they are going through. we try to support each other. there are good people working in the VA hospital. thank you thank you
  5. I hope your experience with P.E. has made an improvement in your. Thank you for sharing what you went through and I can expect. I've heard a lot of bad things about P.E. and it is refreshing to hear another perspective.
  6. Has anyone encountered this problem with the VA? The VA has been treating me for shoulder pain for roughly 8 months. My doctor decided to do a MRI to see what's going on. He told me I have a torn labrum and bicep tendon and a bone spur in my right shoulder that is causing pain and limited range of motion. There were other problems he discussed, but I didn't understand him. (the left shoulder isn't much better). He told me in most cases he would refer me to a surgeon, but he won't. Why? I am too old for the operation. I saw a doctor outside of the VA health care system. He asked me why I'm coming to him and not the VA, and I told him. I'm 51 and I'm too old. Any suggestions?
  7. I am 70 percent service connected for PTSD/Major Depression. Flunked CBT twice. The VA tells me my last option with them is Exposure Therapy then they are done with me. Can't say I blame them too much. My question is what should I expect? Rehashing in CBT only brought up more events and one hospitalization on the psych ward. Is this a good thing? What do I need to be concerned about before going into this? Thanks, Bernie
