  1. Been on everything too and had every diagnosis out there or 3 at once depending who I see. Changes and varies. I just attend therapy and seems to do the best. Although mines different I was placed on TDRL and stuck there for almost 4 years (3 MEB PEB exams) till they permanently medically retired me.
  2. Hey. I'm rated and discharged for the same. Got in the VA system just a few months in 07. I"m sitting at 70% with that alone. I think I know you. Lackland AFB (Wilford Hall) from Feb 2007 to July 2007. Placed on TDRL Status from July 2007 to October 2010. I think we went through the same doctors.
  3. *****Title 38: Pensions, Bonuses, and Veterans' Relief PART 4—SCHEDULE FOR RATING DISABILITIES Subpart B—Disability Ratings Mental Disorders 4.130 Schedule of ratings—mental disorders. General Rating Formula for Mental Disorders: Total occupational and social impairment, due to such symptoms as: gross impairment in thought processes or communication; persistent delusions or hallucinations; grossly inappropriate behavior; persistent danger of hurting self or others; intermittent inability to perform activities of daily living (including maintenance of minimal personal hygiene); disorientation to time or place; memory loss for names of close relatives, own occupation, or own name . . . 100 If that is the requirements to be at 100% I would be happy to just stay at my 70% rating for this.
  4. Glad to hear your case came through so fast and easy. Mine has been a nightmare and all over the place with diagnoses's and rating decisions. I was med permanently discharged with more than 30% and BP-I with manic rapid cycle psychotic features (within 2 months of evaluation and ZERO LOR LOC's in the USAF and no judicial punishment). Va only gave me 50% now 60%...for Aspergers (High Function Autism)? Medical diagnosed later as GAD. Then disability was rated back to Bipolar. Now medical is sitting on PTSD per last counselor/therapists records of 2 years. I don't drink, do drugs, smoke, gamble, go party every nite, promiscuous everyday nor waste my money. I have a credit rating above 700. The VA wanted to say I can't handle my own funds and assign me a fiduciary 3 months before I divorced (giving it to the wife or ex wife). Doctor wrote I'm fine to handle it...so did a outside provider Psychologist. Since I got out the Military I went off meds and never went back. I've been in therapy only. The only problem is I just can't maintain relationships or stable employment. I've been trying to get mine fixed to PTSD and Anxiety/Depression but it's a long story. Be Thankful your case was so easy and with blessings.
  5. I used be stationed in Malmstrom AFB and grew up in Billings and lived there afterwards 09-11. I thought they had this thing done already?
  6. 3 Months Supply.............isn't it max of a month? I thought they usually don't send over the lethal dose amount? I guess not.
  7. Isn't it he can try to claim 100% since he's at 70% total and one at 50%? I thought there was a law about that? Anyway yeah know his frustration. I've gotten good jobs or been doing great in school then something comes up and I have to stop or get terminated. Some of us can get great jobs do great in school and education and start out great. But we can't maintain it. Wish the VA would see this as TDIU as well. I'm still looking for a VSO VRO in the Philippines. Hope you get some care and to the Hospital!!!!
  8. I need to clarify this. What is the difference between TDIU and TD Combined Ratings? I'm at 80% total and one disability at 60% mental health. Can I claim up to the 100%? My VRO VSO mentioned this as well as my Patient Advocate. But I don't know the process or what happens along the way? i don't wana risk them doing something dumb and saying everything is better (Which it's not) and lowering me. I haven't had consistent records in a while and there have been huge gaps the last 18 months in my medical folder I've seen been starting again and am in the Philippines. Already in the VA Manila Regional Office's system. THANKS!
  9. So what is the difference or how does it work again? TDIU Filing vs a Totally Disabled Combined Claim? I'm Total of 80% right now and have one disability at 60% mental health. Can I file or what is the process? Can someone list the order of what happens or could happen? I haven't worked for 1 year now but I don't want TDIU. I just want the TD Combined.
  10. I guess I'm the first so I'll start off. #1. Long story short got an ex wife and son in the Philippines. Married here few years ago went back and forth brought wife then to the USA and dual citizen son. More problems with wife and now divorced and in custody issues. Won in the US and had nightmare with the VA in Montana. Now taking fight to the Philippines for all that fun family stuff. Won my requests from the VA regarding apportionment claims my ex filed. other than that... Continue knee treatment, work on new claims never filed, Voc Rehab and 9/11 Bill benefits to finish my college, counseling therapy. Same as Montana (Minus the ex wife). #2. I've heard of issues in the past with this office but a new clinic was built and looks like new staff also. Very professional, organized, friendly. Very clean and safe and secure place. When I went there they've been very attentive and good. I get treated alittle differently being so young and Korean. It's been a good experience. #3 Call to make an appointment, They won't give emergency medical for any reason or any walk-in care. Unless something happens to you while you're inside their clinic. It is the Philippines and medical care and laws are not the same there. Once you go off VA grounds you no longer are under USC Codes. Even Philippine Law applies at the VA Clinic as well. So be understanding they don't have control over some things. The Pinoy culture really cares about veterans and what they did. Some just are frustrated with the bureaucracy of the job but have no choice but to follow the VA Protocol.
