  1. Yep, I rebooted my Google Netbook and it worked fine. Weird thing was, it gave the same error on our laptop until it was rebooted also.
  2. Yeah, usually just get the other down for maintenance. But, DFAS and e-bennies are giving 404 errors (file not found) which is weird because they both use the same portal but login is a different page. Somebody pulled the big cable that is marked "don't pull".... oops did I do that?
  3. Anyone else getting a DMDC 404 file not found error on e-bennies? Not the usual site down message a DOD DMDC error.
  4. It only took 570 days but finally my claim went to the preparation for decision stage. It is a small step but, finally it moved. Took two calls from the congressman's office to move it. First one, corrected an issue and the agent told her it would be fixed. A month goes by and.....nada, zip, zilch movement. So, she (congressman's aid) calls yesterday and from what she said in her e-mail it was one of those "let's talk" moments. Agent said she would call her today. She called and guess what? The claim was never fixed or forwarded. So, the agent up and calls me and viola! The agent has already changed the status in e-useless-bennies...
  5. Okay, I asked my VSO... she does know about this. My bad, I didn't know it was at the RO level... Thanks
  6. Interesting. The Polk county VSO doesn't know about this.... Can you tell me an office / VSO that does? I would love to get a true status.
  7. I feel for ya... Been nearly 18 months and nothing but a goat rope,
  8. Somewhere, either here or another site I seem to remember a post referring to getting a court order for the VA to take action? "I went through a door but forget what was on the other side .I would go through it again but I forgot which door it is." '
