  1. Just received my SOC from my De Novo Review, so they increased some of my ratings and not others, but my real question is will I get another ratings letter, or is the SOC stating the increase in ratings it? And if I am happy with my new ratings, do I need to do anything with the VA from 9? FYI, I am very happy with the increased ratings, went from 40% to 80%, just not sure what is next?
  2. Was this updated physical actually a C&P exam perhaps? It may have been, I am posting from work and do not have access to my paperwork, so I may have called it by the wrong name. During my DRO Hearing, the DRO requested a newer VA exam as it had been about a year since my last VA exam. This sounds a bit off - why would the DRO be sending your claim back to a VARO, the DRO is located at the VARO ? I am not sure about any of this, but I submitted my NOD and then I was given the option of a "face to face" DRO Hearing and it was conducted right hear in Denver. After the hearing I gathered all the requested information and received an updated VA examination. I sent everything to the DRO in Denver and once she had everything she called me and said that she had everyhting she needed, she had reviewed everything and I beleive she said she made a decision and sent the packet back to the Salt Lake City Office, which I understand to be our regional rating office, but I am currently batting zero, so I may have that wrong as well. I also do not understand why it had to go back to Salt Lake City, but I am also not trying to anger anybody that I am trying to get to help me. I have asked my so called "representative" at the DAV, but he seems to never have time and doesn't really answer any of my questions, here again, I do not want to make this guy angry as he is my representative. I am just wondering how long the average wait is after the DRO has made a decision?
  3. I have been going through the appeal process since September of last year and I know it is probably not a long time. I completed the NOD and then had a face to face with the DRO. From that meeting some additional information was requested to include an updated physical. I completed all requirements and sent additional information to the DRO. Around 12 May, she contacted me and said she had reviewed everything and sent it back to the regional office in Salt Lake City, Utah. So, my question is, how long now? I was under the assumption that once the DRO made a decision, I was going to hear something rather quickly? Is this still considered quick in the VA system and I should not worry? Also the ebenefits website does not allow for me to check the status of my appeal, so is there a way to find out where it is at in the process? The ebenefits website has my appeal listed as pending with VBA?
