  1. I had to go through my Representative to get a copy of my c-file.. I did not request any help from this Representative but something is going on! I don't want the claim held up because of this. My claim started in Sept. 2007.
  2. Can anyone tell me what a statement on ebenefits about my claim from 2007 might mean. The statement is "copy of your C-File to include a congressional inquiry"? Thanks for your help! Tim
  3. with an award of 30% or higher you are entitled to reimbursement for any travel to VA medical appointments (service connected and non-service connected). You are also entitled to retroactive travel pay for any travel to VA appointments back to the effective date of your award. Can you tell me where does it state this, I have been on the Udorn site for years and this is the first I heard of this! Tim MMS 66-67
  4. On myhealth vet in a premimum account there is a thing called a BLUE BUtton that will take you to your c&p notes and your medical stuff from the VA tim MMS
  5. Thank you so much for your response! These guys basically registered and went once after and now say they do not deal with the bs. I will pass along along your information and see if it has any kind of effect. I am not going to give up on them! Tim
  6. Berta, that is great news for him! I have read many of your posts on this site and I wonder if you can give me some advice? I have two friends both of whom are Vietnam Army combat veterans. Both who have PTSD and one has heart problems the other has other issues. I have been trying to get them into the VA system for years but with no success. They have both registered with VA a few years ago but will not go any more because of the BS you have to go through. Do you have any suggestions as to how I could get them back to the VA! Thank you! Tim
  7. Today my FDC is having it's first birthday. While in the VA system and only a week old it was changed from a FDC to a claim reopened from 2007. Today ebenefits also changed it's estimated finish date to between April of 2015 and October of 2015. They also sent it back to gathering more evidence? I went through all my C&P exams 3 months ago. I started this mess back in 2005 and it never seems to end. I would think by now the paperwork is starting to fall apart. Now I realize why everyone continues to say don't give up, keep fighting! Sorry for the rant! Tim
  8. I think and hope there is another claim situation that I have that also happens. My military record did not show any service in Vietnam or Thailand. My first attempt of a claim was denied because of service record. It took me several years to get buddy letters to prove I was stationed there. I started the claim process in 2005 and filed the claim in 2007. I am still waiting for the results. The effective date should be 2007 because there was military information that was not used when the claim was decided. This appears to be a common problem so make sure your record shows the correct info before you send it off. Tim MMS 66-67
