I was curious how on ebenefits did you see they recieved you're qtc report.

how long did you're claim sit in gathering evidence phase?

It was done by qtc i'll call the 1800 number i'm sure there has to be a way to get a copy before claim is settled

What will happens if c p examiner doesnt make a nexus as my private physician did. Depression secodary to sleep apnea.

I am having my physiatrist fill out the DBQ, I am claiming depression and axiety secondary to my service connected sleep apnea. Will this help speed up the process. I already have a good Nexus letter from the same doctor. Thanks for any feedback

I have appeals on anxiety bipolar depression but I am thinking of claiming secondary why the appeals are on going because if my appeal goes to bva it could take years or if i file a fully developed claim secondary anxiety depression .. Im going to talk to dav because vso people are useless here.. I tried today but couldnt get myself out of bed bad day..

i applied for an upgrade 2 years ago i'll have to look at paper work, I called a few lawers I think they wanted 10k and couldnt guarentee an upgrade.. I'm currently living in NOrfolk VA. If anyone knows of one for maybe 5k it would be worth it but 10 seemed a little crazy and I didnt have it.

Thanks, I found out in July about winning sleep apnea and denied on all other put in appeal but will get a lawyer.. It was so stressful I had to give it a rest for a couple months.. I'm in bad shape couldnt sleep cant work.. July just winning the 50percent saved my ass.. Now i'm picking myself back up to fight the good fight.. I will get a lawyer because I can't seem to do this at this current moment in time. Thanks all again, I would not have made it this far without you and this site.

yes but its all on my oth period, I went to medical several times during my honorable period told them exact words mind is jumpin around can't focus at work. One report in 03 said possible mood swings, another in 05 says possible depression but doesnt fit criteria.. I was scared to tell them alot of things but kept breaking down and I have these on my honorable period. 99-06.. Its a mess and i'm just trying to figure it out, I tried to upgrade not going to happen so my only hope is to tie everything to honorable period. I was diagnosed bipolar 2010 but i did a bunch of crazy stuff during my honorable period that i'm not going to put on here.. I'm just trying to figure this out and my brain doesnt work half the time..lol

I was approved for sleep apnea service connected had a 2004 sleep stuyd schedule got scared they would kick me out backed out.. 2008 finally got it done told them about anger outburst anxiety depression diagnosed sleep apnea.. served us navy 1999-2010 honorable 1999-2006 2006-2010 OTH ban to benefits yes tried to upgrade not going to happen. They approved the sleep apnea based on honorable period thank god, but can I claim the depression and anxiety as seconday conditions any help would be appreciated. I am appealing the denial but want to file FDC while appeal is going, I am bipolar and just had a total break down and they kicked me out. Not going into details and I have tried to point it out they don't care. Thanks for the help. I appalagize for jumping around and not making sense, i'm on so many meds and this stuff is hard and the VSo out here are not worth a dam. I got approved july 2013 sleep apnea but havent gotten the nerve or my mind together to go to dav or get a lawyer.. my mind most days can't figure this out. phyctrist and the other is a phycologist, they are in different offices but both have me diagnosed with ptsd. I don't know, went to the vet center because a friend from the past was working at va told me to go.. i qualify for VA treatment now and they have me meeting with a pychrtist next month. They aslo want me to go to this pssh or someting group, its like 9 hours of therapy a week. I have been doing the appointments, but keep putting of getting with a dav or vso. Tomorrow i am making myself leave the house and go. I will see what they advise me to do before i submit my NOD.

I filed for the aniexty they but bi-polar with anxiety depression. i call 1800 peggy and asked if it was p6ut in wrong. I asked if it could be evaluated seperately. 2006 honorable period may 2006- jan 2010 oth and bar from benefits tried hard to upgrade. They will not upgrade.. I am going to go to vso or dav soon to help with appeal. I am seeing my civilian doc friday, hes going to write another letter. Now i qual for va health and they have a va shrink set up for me in september. Hopefully he will fix it

I have a civilian doctor that had diagnosed me with ptsd, my denial letter says the evidence does not show a confirmed diagnosis of ptsd which would permit a finding of service connection. The available medical evidence is in sufficient to confirm a link bewteen current symptoms and an in-service stressor. I have only been seeing civilian doctors but am going to va shrink next month. I have a few in service stressors, being shot at is one of them and a buddy letter from a guy who is still active duty to support it. Another was i was working security duty during 911 and months after words, it was alot of pressure especially since a cell got arrested with explosives and maps to the local bases. There where a few other crazy things that happend in naples italy, tow truck trivers illegally took my car and tried to extort me which lead to a very violent incident. I have a medical report in my SMR, I wasn't injured bad but two them went to the the hospital. Ok now you read all this and say, oh you where not in combat, bla bla.. tell you the truth I didnt think it messed with me. But after looking at my medical records I know this lead to my anxiety. 2008 two years after my honorable disharge, now we are into my oth period. I broke down told the sleep doc, about anger prob, anxiety depression, all the other crap. 2008 navy labeled me with chronic anxiety, I don't know maybe I need my doctor to write another letter. I will go to the dav soon and ask advice, my doctor is upset that they did not take him information and is willing to write up an imo for no extra charge. Any suggestions

maybe someday but i have given up on it and use vics(i glob it in my nose) and keep a cup of water by the bed.

2008 first got it, tried tried.. i use vic vapor rub.. i told them its not going ot happen.. i have changed masked.. watch tv if i die then i die. I can't sleep with that crap on

I finally read all the papers my mind was all over the place. Maybe because of oth they have given me service connection for the purpose of establishing eligibility to treatment for the following. low back right knee ptsd bi-polar with depression anxiety and paranoid psychosis and add. Its weird, I went to va today and showed them my records of service, and buddy statement about getting shot at downtown naples and a few other crazy things that happened to me. its all in my records and its shows it getting worse and worse until 2008 they listed my anxiety as chronic. Long story short they said my civilian doc prob didn't feel it out the right way so we will see. Thanks for all the help, i am finally getting somewhere and they have group therapy set up from me.

ok, i served 10 years XXXXX i'm not going to say it, I had several break downs during this time. I am not trying to defraud anyone, I am reading a medical report from 2002 and it says i told the doc that i took med for add in high school. I do not remember this believe it or not. hell, i have about 4 different times where i went to medical over the years because i started shutting down at work. I don't remember telling the doc half the junk in there either. i went through alot of hell, in the military being shot at is one of them, so before you start calling someone a fraud.. maybe think that you don't know half of the shit this man has been through.

Thanks for the help, I tried to upgrade it over a year ago and i think I had a year to appeal. i will look into it some more, and I should of had my doctor write letters about my mental condition. Its like fighting a war on 3 or more fronts..lol i will try to upgrade again, i will appeal, and I will see if i can claim secondary depression and anxiety to my sleep apnea.
