  1. Hello veterans. I just wanted to take a few minutes and introduce myself. I'm William (Will) Watson, and I am an Army veteran. My combined service-connected disability rating is 60% for Generalized Anxiety Disorder w/PTSD (50%), Hypertension (10%), Tinnitus (10%) and Allergic Rhinitis (0%). Since 1996, I have been denied for service incurred (onset) PSVT (Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia), Asthma and Chronic Low Back Pain. I claimed all of these conditions when I was discharged because I had been treated for and had tests confirm each condition. I've been on Social Security Disability since August 2012 for a combination of all of my conditions, and have been unemployed since January 2009 as a result of my conditions.

I actually signed up on this forum some time ago, but haven't felt like I had much to contribute or knew the types of questions to ask until now. I'm probably a little bit late in posting here as I have a DRO hearing tomorrow at the Nashville VA Regional Office. I submitted an NOD in March of 2012, and have recently applied for TDIU, so this along with the NOD on previous denials will (to the best of my understanding) be what's being reviewed tomorrow at the hearing. My VSO rep is DAV (Disabled American Veterans). They told me that my packet is solid and that I shouldn't have any issues with getting TDIU, but I still need to make a copy for the DRO, break things down into separate evidence files and do coversheets. It looks like I've got a long day ahead!

I'm glad I'm here. I hope that I learn something that can help me as well as help other disabled veterans. I already have a page on Facebook called Disabled Military Veterans where I post helpful VA related things that I find, or updates that I learn about. Feel free to check the page out and comment. I'd like to continue to help veterans any way that I can. Thank each and every one of you for your service, and good luck to you with your claims.
