  1. Sorry I dont know what a VCAA letter is I am really clueless about all of this as I never really envisioned putting a claim into the VA. I just figured I would soldier on. My wife however has opened my eyes into how this PTSD is affecting the whole family. I could go on and on about it but I know you all get what I am saying i think. so my claim being in " Under review for over a year is normal. Wow..
  2. Filed my Initial claim for PTSD and Spinal back in Feb 2012. My claim is still in "Under Review" Is this normal? I have had no contact from the VA other than the initial letter saying they had received my claim back In March of 2012. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
  3. Hi Everyone, I am writing this question for my husband who filed his intial VA claim for Spinal and PTSD on 2/24/2012. His claim shows in a status of "Under Review" and it has been like this for a year now. Is this normal. It also shows they have received the following documents 21-22 appointment of serive organization 02/29/2012 21-526- veterans application for compensation/ pension 02/29/2012 Copy of a DD214 02/29/2012 Progress notes printed at Seattle We have yet to hear of any C&P exam and have had nothing in the mail other than the inital letter form the VA staing his clain was recieved over a year ago. He is not sure what if anythig he can do to speed things along for him. Thanks in advance.
