Does anyone know anything about analagous ratings. I had my initial medical retirement due to a condition which I only received 10% for. I do have an 80% rating total for other problems. The ironic thing is the other conditions did not make me leave the service. I have a condition where when in high heat I develop blindness in one eye. So even activity which would raise my body temperture I will loose my vision. I have had neurologists go back and forth thinking it was M.S. Even though they say it may be an early form of M.S. they will not put down a diagnosis. Instead they put down another diagnosis of Uhtoffs phenomenom. Now there is not a rating for Uhtoffs but if one looks up Uhtoffs it is a presenting sign of M.S. When going through the Med board process legal halted the process because she felt this should have an analagous rating with M.S. even without the diagnosis. The Dr working on case kicked it through anyways without the rating. I am just thinking that I should be able to appeal this to get an analagous rating with M.S. Has anyone gone through an analagous rating before?
